PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #1, INSPIRATION WEEK....CLEAN AND SIMPLE

This is what I have made

I made a very simple bag.....or I should say I altered it....

This is the back of the bag, I colored it with green and orange and white PanPastels and topped it with White Coarse....

This is the front of the Bag, I used similar colours as on the back of the bag....White Coarse, Orange and Blue Pearlescent PanPastels..and the Dutch Doobadoo Stencil with the leaves....and to finish the bag I placed a butterfly and a senitment. The butterfly was also colored with the Pearlescent PanPastels and the finishing touch was made with Glossy Accents.....Hope you like the clean and simple Bag, very easy to make and so nice to give to someone who is celebrating his or her birthday.....

PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS SCRAP 365 BLOGHOP.....

Hey there guys.....Today I am joining in a fantastic blog hop along with Scrap 365 magazine blog and the Pan Pastel team! 

The Scrap 365 team challenged the Pan Pastel team to go crazy with colour so how could we refuse?

So, Awash with colour huh?
Well, the Scrap365 team asked Nikky to choose a specific colour palette and to use it for inspiration.

This is the colour palette that I have worked with....

                                     

It is called Succulent Pallette and I just love these springlike colours.....I did not have all the colours Pans, but I made the darker violet and the green myself with the colours that I do have.

 So this is what I have made....

 I have never made a layout but for the Scrap 365 bloghop I thought I would make something.

 

I started out with getting all sorts of stuff that I wanted to use......such as the panpastels, pictures of my girls, honeycomb gears, dutch doobadoo hearts and board, butterflies and stencils.....and a canvas....

 So what I did was I started out with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and used the Stencils from Dutch Doobadoo. 

Then I placed some Honeycombs for decoration. On Top I played with my colour palette with PanPastels and mixed some of the colours to create the right colours

 So then I mixed the colours I used lots of hearts, small hearts, butterflies and gears from Dutch Doobadoo to create this layout. I added some lace to finish my project.

WE DO DOOBADOO CHALLENGE #1 HEARTS FOREVER, USING STENCILS

Ohhh my goodness guys there is a BRAND NEW CHALLENGE over at the 

WE DO DOOBADOO Challenge Blog....

and I am so honored that I am on of the DT members....and I am very proud cause me being a Dutch girl using Dutch Doobadoo products in an English DT is very special me thinks.....

Oke so if you have never heard of  DUTCH DOOBADOO products you should really check these amazing range of products out. It is a Dutch brand which offers the crafting world the most amazingly versatile craft products including Detailed Masks, Stencils and Templates, Laser cut Paper Art shapes and much more! 

We will have a challenge every fortnight with some fabulous inspiration on how to use these great products - and it will be a joy because the whole design team have fallen in love with this stash, we just can't get enough! Oke so onto the Challenge ......

This week the theme is HEARTS FOREVER 

And this is what I have made....

I have played with a little box,worked on the background with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and used the Circles Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo and it is really fabulous to work with. And I have played with hearts from Dutch Doobadoo I have played with some yummie Spring colours the Bright Yellow Green, Turquoise  and PhtHalo Green PanPastels.

Oke so here I have gathered some items, a box to play with, some fabulous colours PanPastels, hearts and Maimeri. 

I have mixed the PanPastel dust with the Maimeri to give it a permanent look.

After putting the Maimeri together with the dust this is how it looks...a little bit yukki but trust me it will all be good lol.....

I have worked with the Circles Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo and colored the circles onto my box....and on top I have placed some Glassy Gel....it is a bit shiny isn't it?

I did the same with the hearts...first layer the Glassy Gel and after that I have colored them with the PanPastel mix....

Then it looks like this, I did the same with the butterflies, colored them with the PanPastel mix too...

Offcourse I had to color the bottom of the box too, used the white and green PanPastels and also the Circles Stencil...and the result is this.....

So just had to check if the colors were right .....and I am happy with them together....

So now I have placed a little piece of lace over the hearts and the butterflies are on top of the box too, can you spot them......  And to decorate the box I colored the hearts with PanPastels and some lace on top. The Butterflies are colored with Pans too....The box is finished with the Glassy Gel.

Right then, on to this weeks challenge which is 

FRAME IT......you can make whatever you like aslong as you make something that has everything to do with the Theme of the challenge, ......this is what I have made....

I had loads of fun with the Springfeel colours and altered a Photoframe....I worked with Gesso as the first layer on a frame......after that played with the stencil mask and the Light Modelling Paste on the background ,

So for the background inside the frame I worked with the Stencil with honeycomb and PanPastels offcourse and butterflies from the wendy and her sentiment cause butterflies are fragile.....

I especially like the crackles background I just loveeee crackle and offcourse I could not help myself by using it on the frame......
