WE LOVE TO CREATE CHALLENGE #$4 ANYTHING CREATIVE, MIXED MEDIUM GOES XXX

Hey there guys, Happy New Year to you all and
Welcome to our new challenge,  A fabulous challenge sponsored by the fabulous Polkadoodles!!

Polkadoodles Ltd

So what do I have in store for you this week....
I made a card this time....

Are you ready for it.....

Here I go....

It was time to make a Birthday card, so this time for your inspiration I made a Birthday Card. Clean and simple.

I worked on the background with Distress Oxides and splashed water all over it this way the colors mix all together. Usually I work with brighter colors so this was a bit out of my comfortzone. After I dried the background with my heattool I Stamped with red ink.

I used the butterflies from Nikky's stampset Bella Fleur A5 large Clear Stampset.  I just love butterflies. I colored them with Panpastels and the toplayer I used is crackle accents. Last but not least I placed a happy birthday sentiment and colored them with distress inks.

Some of the  products that I worked with are:

Just click on the image and it will take you to the shop.

PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS CHALLENGE #6 Anything Goes theme use fabric/canvas coloured with PanPastels.

Good Morning guys, so here we are again, it is Sunday and you know what that means....yeahhh we have another fabulous Challenge over at

.Premium Craft Brands Challenge Blog   wohoooo ....

Our generous sponsor is Premium Craft Brands and wow she has a fabulous prize for one winner

Now, on to our new challenge, you can play along with our
Anything Goes
theme
 use fabric/canvas coloured with PanPastels.

This is what I have made......

I worked on a canvas with lots of Gesso, Modeling Paste and the huge stencil from Premium Art Brands,  First I played with the Light Modelling Paste and waited for it to dry up. I decided to play with the Metallic PanPastels. They are so wonderfull to create with but so hard to get on a picture lol....The butterfly on this fabulous stencil is highlighted with Crackle Accents....to give it a fragile look, since butterflies are fragile and still so strong.....

At the bottom of the canvas worked with the stampset from Wendy Vecchi, am in love with this particular stampset I love roses and the vaze it is placed in, together with the sentiment I think they fit perfectly in the canvas...

So here is my finished project, what do ya think about it.....I am pretty pleased with the canvas and it turned out the way I wanted too and the idea that I had popping up in my head while I was working with the canvas....I had lots of fun....you wanna have fun too guys....then come on over to the Premium Craft Brands Challenge Blog and have loadsss of fun and do join into the fun. While your their check out my amazing teamies creations guys, they made their fabulous projects for your inspiration....Enjoy and have lots of fun

PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS CHALLENGE # 1, ANYTHING GOES, FROSTY FINISH

Hey there guys, Happy New Year to you all....we have another fabulous challenge for you it will be the first challenge over at the

Our generous sponsor is Premium Craft Brands and wow she has a fabulous prize for one winner

Right then, on to this weeks challenge which is

Anything goes
with a frosty finish

This is what I made

I worked on a box and made it a Frosty one, at least I think so that you can actually see the frostiness on it lol......The first layer that I added to the box is the Gesso one......waited untill it was dried up and then played with the Iridescent Paste....it gives a nice shimmer to the box as you can see on the picture....after I worked with the Glossy Gel.......

after that layer was dry I placed the heartshaped stencil on the box and worked on it with the Modelling Paste....this way you can see the hearts in a circle....I placed the embossing powder on top and it also has a nice shimmer in it. As you can see on this picture.....the blue PanPastel was added in between the heartshaped stencil. And offcourse I could not resist to play with The Wendy Vecchi's butterfly.....as you might know I just love butterflies, so why not a frosty one. So on top of the butterfly there is Blue PanPastel and the Metallic Silver one and a layer of Crackle Accents to give it a frosty look. I think it looks pretty good eh?

So and here is another picture of the side of the box, so you can see the Iridescent Paste shimmer and being frosty....on top I placed a piece of lace and worked on that aswell with Metallic PanPastel and the blue PanPastel. And there you have it, my finished project for this first challenge in the New Year for Premium Craft Brands...and if you wanna have fun too you can come over to the Premium Craft Brands Challenge Blog and join into the fun and while your there check out my amazing teamies creations guys, they made some fabulous projects for your inspiration. Oke here we go with this second weeks project.....

So this is what I made

I just love Christmas......really I do and I do love the Christmas presents too....and I thought why not make a Christmas box to give to someone.....so what I did was I made a box and worked on it with lots wonderfull goodies....worked on this side of the box with the fabulous stencil of Wendy Vecchi, lots of embossing paste and embossing powder....a metal snowflake with embossing powder and some twine....

And offcourse I made a Tag to go with the Box.....again the fabulous stencil from Wendy Vecchi, just love the honeycomb one......the fabulous metall star and a button on top with twine....and the fabulous papers from The Tim Holtz.....I think they go really well together...I mean Tim and Wendy lol......

So this is another side of the box.....everyone who knows me they know that I just love hearts too so I could not resist to put a few hearts on the box too.....with a sentiment on them....

the hearts are worked on with distress ink and crackle....and the metall corners are just fabulous to use on whatever project or card your making.....

And this side I placed the sentiments from Tim Holtz Seasonal Chit Chat Stickers..did you ever try them out they are just great......
I wanted the lace to come back into the box, so it would fit the tag too.....so what I did was play with lace on a  bottle cap and placed a nice image of Santa in it on top some Glossy Accents....and played with Wendy Vecchi's honeycomb stencil and embossing powder. Don't you just love Christmas.....

And here is my finished Tag with Santa on it....also the papers from Tim Holtz mixed with Wendy Vecchi.....lots of lace and twine on top....I really had loads of fun working on the Christmas Box and Tag and if you want to have that much fun too then I suggest you come over to the Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog and do join into the fun.
