WE LOVE TO CREATE CHALLENGE #$4 ANYTHING CREATIVE, MIXED MEDIUM GOES XXX

Hey there guys, Happy New Year to you all and 
Welcome to our new challenge,  A fabulous challenge sponsored by the fabulous Polkadoodles!!

So what do I have in store for you this week....
I made a card this time....

Are you ready for it.....

Here I go....

It was time to make a Birthday card, so this time for your inspiration I made a Birthday Card. Clean and simple. 

I worked on the background with Distress Oxides and splashed water all over it this way the colors mix all together. Usually I work with brighter colors so this was a bit out of my comfortzone. After I dried the background with my heattool I Stamped with red ink. 

I used the butterflies from Nikky's stampset Bella Fleur A5 large Clear Stampset.  I just love butterflies. I colored them with Panpastels and the toplayer I used is crackle accents. Last but not least I placed a happy birthday sentiment and colored them with distress inks.

This is what I have made......

I have made a notebook. I just love to alter my projects, so this time I chose for a Notebook. It makes such a nice present for someone to give to. I worked on the background with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and a Rose stencil.

I waited for it to be dry and colored it with the White Coarse PanPastel and White and Purple colours PanPastels.

The top layer was painted with Iridescent Paste. Than I decided to put a vintage image of a cute girl on it and decorated it with roses and flowers. The flowers were worked on with Glossy Accents to give it a icy look. Last but not least I placed some lace around the Notebook.

For the back of the Notebook I kept it simple, colored it with Purple Pan and topped it off with the Iridescent Paste and on top and at the bottom I place a little bit of lace.....

..this is what I made...yep my Last Christmas Jars made for your inspiration. I worked on the background with Jute and Lace....on top of the Jar I placed some lace and snow. What I did next was color a few wooden stars with first Gesso, White Coarse and White PanPastel.

The borders were colored with Metallic PanPastel. The Wooden Star was stamped with a Christmas Sentiment and finished with Iridescent Paste. Than I got myself a string of rope and placed a brons bell on it. I did the same with the smaller Jar. Last but not least a few small stars above the big one and my Jars were finished.

This is what I have made......

I really had fun making a set of Candle holders for Christmas....I just love altering stuff and these glass jars were just the perfect fit for a Christmas gift.

 I started out with placing the lace onto the Glass Jar and worked on the Wooden Stars, I colored them with the White PanPastels by mixing the white PanPastel with Water and White Coarse.

 I glued the small and large stars onto eachother and onto the Glass Jar. And on top I have 4 stars glued together on a string.....Last but not least I attached some snow onto my project and inside of the Jar, to give it an extra Wintery feel..... And a wooden sentiment will tell you that this is a Xmas Gift. 

I hope you like my project and even more important is that I am giving you some inspiration for Christmas...would it not be nice if you could make your own Christmas Candles.....
