PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #17 ROSES ARE A GIRLS BEST FRIEND

Hey there guys....It is Sunday today, so you probably know what that means eh? Another fabby Challenge over at the 

Premium Craft Brands PanPastel UK Challenge wohoooo ....

This week the theme is ROSES ARE A GIRLS BEST FRIEND....

And this is what I have made for this weeks challenge

 I have altered a square box, into a  Roses Box where you can stuff your small earrings or whatever in. First I worked on the box with Gesso and used Acrylic Paints to color the box. Over the Acrylic Paint I worked with Light Modelling Paste.

 And played with the Roses Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo, The roses are colored with Mixed PanPastels and I am happy with the results. And offcourse I could not resist to put some crackle on top to give the roses an extra fragile look, cause Roses are fragile don't you think.

So here is the result of the top of my Roses Box, I played with the Graph-It Shake it Pen, a little swirl underneith the butterflies and the roses ....you can see em even better don't you think.....And to finish I placed some lace around the borders of my box. So what do ya think did I give ya some inspiration for the challenge.....I had so much fun making my box, you wanna have fun too? DIE-NAMITES DIES...Terry, HEART FRAME.....

Hiya guys here I am again... Lynne asked me to be a GDT for Die-Namites Dies and ofcourse I could not resist, I just love the dies and they are so easy to work with and so versatile......so here is my SECOND project that I made for 

This time I made a card with lots of Vintagy stuff on it.

I started out with making a flower, I used a middle flower size, colored them with all sorts of inks and on top I worked with Crackle Accents and Glossy Accents. And to finish a pearl in the middle and some lace underneath the hearts and flower for decoration.

I choose this fabulous image of a little girl, she looks like she is dreaming of something beautiful and I placed her in the Elegant Heartframe from Die-Namites Dies....don't you just love hearts and this frame is fabulous don't you agree.....I worked on the frame with Acrylic Paints and Crackle on top, two different soft colours and a sentiment at the bottom of the card......Ususally I start with the background of my projects but this time I could not wait to let you guys see what it turned out to be and what you can do with the Frame.....

This is the Elegant Heartframe that I worked with, don't you just love it, I do.....and you can do so many things with it, really you should try it out, just click the image and it will take you to the store where you can purchase it guys....don't waste any time and go over there ......

So what do ya think about this card then eh? I had so much fun making it, the background is made with lots of Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and Crackle from the Wendy Vecchi. Lots of Acrylic Paints and embellies. I sure hope that I have given you some inspiration guys and would like to dare you to make something with the Elegant Frame. So get the thinking cap on and lets start crafting.....You should check out the Die Namites Dies Challenge Blog too, cause there are some amazing projects to be seen from my teamies.

DIE-NAMITES DIES .....BUTTERFLY FRAME

Hiya guys I was so honored when Lynne asked me to be a GDT for Die-Namites Dies..I just love the dies and they are so easy to work with and so versatile......

I played with lots of colours for the background of my card and used the Tim Holtz Harlequin Layering Stencil with lots of inks from the Mini Distress inks. They are fun to work with. And on the other side of the card I played with a roses stencil with Wendy Vecchi's Embossing Paste...

So I have chosen the "Butterfly Frame" as the centre of my card, I colored the Butterfly Frame with lots of Inks and on top a 3D mixture to give the frame some dimension.

So this is the Butterfly Frame, don't you just love this one.....I know I do and if you click the image of it it will take you right to the store where you can purchase it....don't wait just go there and get your hands on it, cause it is just fabulous.

And after coloring and using the 3D mixture it looks like this.....

So since I just loveeee butterflies, I decorated my card with some more butterflies...I doubles them up and placed a small butterfly on top of the other one. Colored them with distress inks and was the finishing touch on my card working with the fabulous first Die from Die-Namites Dies...

It is Sunday today, so you probably know what that means eh? This is the Inspiration week for the Challenge # 16 over at the 

Premium Craft Brands Challenge wohoooo ....

Hey there guys some more inpiration this week, 

AND IT IS ALL ABOUT FLORA AND FAUNA...

And this is what I have made for your inspiration....

 I had fun altering a heartshaped box, I was working on the first layer with lots of Gesso, On top of that I painted the whole box with three different colors of Acrylic Paints.....placed the Light Modelling Paste and the Roses Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo.

 This is the top of the heartshaped box, you can see what Acrylic Paints, Crackle and PanPastels do when you mix them....I just love crackle and how the Pans take over the cracks on the background. The toplayer of the box are worked on with the Roses Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo. I just love the stencils they give such a fabulous look when you play on them with Light Modelling Paste. And the butterflies are stamped with embossing ink and PanPastels.

I did the same procedure with the box itself, all around I painted the box with Acrylic Paints and on top I played with the Roses Stencil. The Roses itself are colored with White PanPastels.

Oke so here we have the finished project, I hope I have give you some inspiration and that will give you some ideas of what to make for the challenge. So come on over and do join into the fun. This week the theme is FLORA AND FAUNA 

And this is what I have made for this weeks challenge

I was playing with some butterflies, I just love them and I wanted to give them a nice fresh and bright colour. So I mixed some panpastels together and this is what the color turned out to be. What I did was, worked on the background with Gesso and colored the buttterflies with Greenish and Blue Pans....

On top of the PanPastels I placed the Roses stencil and took the Light Modelling Paste to get some structure onto the butterflies....

And might I add that worked really well. And to finish my butterflies I took the Graph-It Splash pen and placed some dots and made a few little flowers......

And the last layer I added was the Irisdescent Paste to give the butterflies a nice finishing touch....I hope you like my butterflies, I am very pleased with this weeks project and I hope I am giving you some inspiration on what to make for this weeks challenge over at the Premium Craft Brands PanPastel Challenge. you wanna have fun too.....

It's Saturday so that means we have another 
fantastic We Do Doobadoo Challenge!

So this fortnight we have a wonderfull theme, the theme is ribbons.....and I had some ribbons anddddd lace to play with.....

 I have played with the roses stencil, I wanted to know if I could work with it on glas with Light Modelling Paste and yesssss it worked very well, just the way I wanted it to be.

 I have placed some lace onto the glass too to make it a bit more vintagy

On top of the Lid I put a huge lace flower

Hey there guys some more inpiration this week, 

FOR THE BOYS....

so this is what I have made, I sure hope I am giving you some inspiration for the challenge....

So I had me some fun playing around with a wallhanger for the Boys, I have played with some wooden butterflies that are hanging underneith the wallhanger....They are colored with Panpastels that I mixed together untill I got the blueish color that I wanted.....On top I placed dots with the wonderfull Graph-It Shake Markers from Premium Art Brands....

the background is worked on with light modelling paste, the roses stencil. The roses are colored with PanPastels that I mixed together. 

So when there is a front there is a backside too, so I used the same roses stencil and worked with Light Modelling Paste to create this on the back of the heart. The roses are colored with the Greenish PanPastels.

 

And here is my whole project, finished and all done.....I am happy with the result, hope you like it too.
