Hiya ladies and gents...here we are again with another fabulous challenge on the

 Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog....




wohooooo it is Monday again so that means that you can get your thinking "hat" on for this wonderfull challenge......

And this week the challenge is Show us Your Hat,
we would like you to make or alter a Hat or a Bonnet with whatever you would like to alter or create on it. I am very curious so come on over and do join in cause you can win a fabulous prize generously sponsored by Simon Says Stamp...

Oke here we go......

I had a really hard time to get started with the challenge cause I was thinking I don't have a hat that I can alter.....But.....I have a very sweet friend who gave me a push in the right direction....so I made a Top Hat for a Bride. I have used a tutorial from a Top Hat....and I had a very nice looking bride given to me by my Mother in Law....sooooo this is what I did....

Such a sad looking Bride......LOL....so I just had to do something about it eh?

So this is before.......the makeover.....

 The Bride was holding a "white" flower, but I thought no way so I played with the Distress inks and made the rose look old.....the red roses replaced the bicycle tires flowers that were first there.

The hat is worked on with the Graphic 45 paperpad, Steampunk Debutante, distressed with Vintage Photo, Victorian Velvet and Fired Brick.

The flowers are from The Tim Holtz Tattered Florals and from the EK Succes Retro Flower Punch, the lace is worked on with distress inks and the butterfly is also from a punch. 

And here is my finished project for this weeks challenge .....
And I have an after the make over picture too....

So what do you think???? she's a happy Bride now eh?

Sorry for the bad picci.....but this is what the Bride looks like now...so you can see from upclose what she is made off......yep you better believe it, she is made out of tires from a bicycle......pretty special eh? And that's it for me for now......

I have played with this very cute digistamp from Elisabeth Bell, don't you just love her.....I colored her with my copics and used the Decorative Chalks and the At You Spica pens on the flowers and the background.....

And this is my card when it is finished.....I just love these papers, they were a present from my teamie Jo and I really had fun with them, they are from Kate Night....I placed some flowers on the bottom of the card and used stickles on them.....and on some of the borders of the paper.

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays Challenge # 49, Oh So Spring and more....

This is what I made this week.

What do you think about this cutie Gillian......I really love her, colored her and the chickies with the copic ciao's and used the Decorative Chalks in the background.....

Around the borders of the image I have worked with the Paper Distresser, such a nice tool to use on all of your cards.....and you can purchase Gillian in the Store from Roberta, she has lots of cute digistamps that you can purchase....so go ahead and check it out oke......

And yep this is my finished card.....I love the bright colors and soft ones in this paper....I have written the sentiment myself and used some sparkles on it.

Oke here we go.....

this week the challenge says Simon Says Stamp and Show us your Word......
So what we would like you to do, is make a card, tag or whatever you want to and show us your Word.....

This is what I have made for this weeks challenge

I worked on a canvas with Distress inks, I have used the  Vintage Photo, Fired Brick, Victiorian Velvet and Tattered Rose.

The beautifull butterflies are from The Wendy Vecchi, Just Fly and are also worked on with Distress inks and Glossy Accents. I just love butterflies and yep the ones from The Wendy are just great to work with.....

I have placed a few roses and used some stickles on top of the roses.....

the swirl on the picture is from The Tim Holtz Idea-ology Grungeboard elements.

And this is my project when it is finished......I have used the word "LOVE" because there is a lots of love FOR and IN my two girls. When this picture was taken  I think that Denice was 3 years of age and Shannon was 6 months. So what do you think....hope you like it....I just love the girls in the phrame, hehehe my pride and joy.......

Sketch Saturday, Challenge #147 and more.....

Hiya ladies and gents......here we are again...so sorry that I did not post anything since last Friday.....but I was really sick....haven't been since ages....but thank goodness I am back in Blogland.....wohooooo

So here we go with another fabulous

 Sketch Challenge at Sketch Saturday.....

Jo made a fabulous sketch for us again to play with.....
I will come to that in a minute......

And this is what I made with the sketchie....

Once upon a time hehehe.....I received this cutiepie from my friend....and now....finally I have colored her with copics and placed her on a card.....used the Decorative Chalks in the background and a few little flowers in the corner....few glitz and glimmer stones in there .....

The papers I have used are from a candy that I once won.....and I just love the soft tones in this paper.......I used the sentiment that I got from my teamie and I love this one.....placed the punched Retro Flower in there and the smallest one with a glimmer....
some ribbon and I have used the Martha Stewart Punch on the side of the card and walla I am done....Oh allmost forgot, on all the sides of the papers I worked with the Paper Distresser...such a nice tool to use....you really gotta try that one, it is fabulous...

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays, Challenge #48 It's my party ......

Hiya ladies and gents..here we go with another fabulous challenge at the

Prairie Fairy Fun Friday Challenge Blog....

and this time the challenge is called "It's my party"  This week Beverly is our hostess and you gotta check out all of the great creations that my teamies made wohoooo...
So I decided to make a card for my youngest daughter Shannon.....See we are having our birthday on the same day hehehe.....next Thursday, so this weeks theme was very handy to make a card for Shannon....so here it comes.....

How about this little ducky??? Isn't he cute......

And how about this little Ducky??? They are really party animals....

They are called Dandy and Deanna Ducky and if you click the linky it will take you to the store of Roberta, she has these two cuties in her store and lots and lots more.....hehehe....if you want to purchase them go check it out oke? I colored Dandy and Deanna with copics and placed them on a nestie.....and placed a few roses .....

And in the middle you can see the sentiment that we got from Lynne, so we could play with it....thank you Lynne really love this one......I have placed a few roses in the middle of the sentiment that is also placed on a nestie...

So this is my card for this week.....I have used the paper distresser around the the borders .....just love that little thing to make the papers look a little older.....the papers are from Making Memories and is called Flutter.....don't you just love those colors?

Simon Says Stamp and Show, Show us Your Metal....

Hiya ladies and gents.....wohooo it is Monday so that means another fabulous challenge at the

Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog.....

This week the challenge is Show us Your Metal....

I think you will have to get your thinking cap on and lets start crafting eh?

So here it comes.....this is what I made for this week....

I decided to make a card, was in a romantic mood hehehe so I made a bit of a romantic card.....anyways I think the colors are ....Used the embossfolder from Provocraft, the Distressed Stripes.

I tried to make a metallook on the top of the card and by using the The Tim Holtz Sizzix Die SCROLLWORK on the Edge Alterations, this way I tried to give the card that metal look. The borders are worked on with the Paper Distresser . I just love that little wonder......

I used lace from my own stash, placed the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Grungeboard Elements underneith the image, it is worked on with the Distress embossing ink and Embossing powder. Thought that would look nice.....and it turned out pretty good eh?

The roses are worked on with Distress Stickles and on top I have used a few Brads.

I have placed the same nestie on the inside and also the lace but different papers...

Here you can see it better I think.....also on the inside I have worked with the Cuttlebug Embossing folder, really love that Green Apple it helps a lot to give your cards or projects that something extra.....

And here is my card for this weeks challenge when it is finished......

Ohhh I gotta tell ya ......We have TWO new AMAZING TEAMIES....how about that.....wohooooo, you really gotta take a peek at there blogs, Our new teamies are Candy and Sarah and they made there incredible first projects...wowzersss my mouth was open wide and laying flat on the table when I saw it............

Sketch Saturday Challenge #145, Cazza's DT week and more....

Hiya ladies and gents...I know I know I am sooo late.....but finally here it is.....
It is Saturday and that means another fabulous sketch challenge

how about that....and it is a very nice one, Cazza my teamie had her DT week this week and I can tell you that she made a fab one to play with.....

We got to choose a stamp that we could use for making our card.....

I chose Minx- Taking time out and I think it is a real cutie......

And this is my card for this week.

I have used this wonderfull stamp from Lisa Designs.

I really like this relaxing Minx....I have colored him with my copics and used the Decorative Chalks for the background......And offcourse a few roses 

The papers that I have used are from Basic Grey, love these colors too...yep I know it is not only the purple color for me allthough I really love purples.....but this will do too LOL....so the brownish and greenisch colors to fit the stamped up image.....a few pearls on the corners and offcourse I have used the Martha Stewart Punch...love this one...just to add a little extra....The sentiment is from a candy that I won a little time ago....I really like it, just cut out the center and placed a little rose in there to finish it.
