PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #27 COLD and FROSTY COLOURS

Hey there crafters, It is Sunday today, and I know I am very very late, but finally I have finished my project......... 

Today there is a BRANDNEW Challenge over at the 

Premium Craft Brands Challenge wohoooo ....

The theme for this weeks challenge is

FROSTY COLOURS

I made a FROSTY heartshaped box, would make a nice gift for someone. I started out with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste was used with the Roses Stencil from Dutch Doobadoo.

The box was colored with Blue Pearlescent Pans, White, Silver Metallic and White COARSE Pearl Medium to give it a bit of a shimmer.

 This is one of the sides of the box

 And another side of the box. Gives you such a different look eh?

And the lid of the box a bit open, so you can see it really is a cute box where you can put something inside. 

On top of the box I placed some Softboard and a few hearts that I made with the kraft hearts template. Poored Mixed Medium inside and let it dry out, colored the hearts and topped it off with Crackle for an extra Frosty look.

WE DO DOOBADOO, CHALLENGE #17, ECHANCING THOSE DIES.....

Hey there guys! 

We have another 

fantastic We Do Doobadoo Challenge!

So on we go this this fortnights challenge, the theme is Enchancing those dies...and this is what I made...

I wanted to alter a wallhanger, and this time it is a huge one......

Since there has to go a huge butterfly on it it has to be a bit bigger than the onces I usually work with....

On top I placed the Honeycomb softboard and used some Roses dies and played with the honeycomb stencil on the roses and to colour them the Pearlescent Pans. 

The background was made with Gesso and lots of Pearlescent Pans and Metallic Pans.....I played with the Stencils from Dutch Doobadoo the onces that were worked with on the background are the Leaves and the honeycomb is used for the Roses Dies, on top of the roses I colored some hearts from Dutch Doobadoo.

The huge butterfly is colored with Pearlescent PanPastels and topped with Glossy Accents, to give it a fragile look I played with Crackle Accents....

It is Sunday today and today is the week for Inspiration for Challenge # 23 over at the 

Premium Craft Brands Challenge wohoooo ....

Hey there guys some more inpiration this week and the theme is 

Add some embossing.....and this is what I made for your inspiration....

 I had lots of fun altering a little box. I worked on the background with the Light Gold, Orange Pearl, Green Pearl, Red Pearl, Yellow Pearl, Copper and White COAR|SE PanPastels.

The side of the box so you can see the texture on it. 

To make the heartsy embellishments I used the board from the Hearts from Dutch Doobadoo, I played with Light Modelling Paste, waited untill they were allmost dry and put them through and embossingfolder. Colored them with the Pearlescent Pans and topped them of with the Iridescent Paste. To finish my project I placed some sentiments.

PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE #22 FRAME IT

Hey there crafters, It is Sunday today, so you probably know what that means eh? 

Today there is a BRANDNEW Challenge over at the

The theme for this weeks challenge is

FRAME IT

So you can make whatever you like alsong as it has everything to do with our theme, FRAME IT....

This is what I made

I had loads of fun ( you probably think she allways has fun lol.....but it is just that when I am crafting I am having loads of fun) so as I was saying, I had loads of fun making my project for this weeks challenge and I had an idea in my head and my projec turned out just what I was thinking about.....

So what I did was, I used Gesso to give my frame a base colour.....and since yesterday I was playing with the NEW Pearlescent PanPastels, I thought why not use them on this project too.....they are so much fun to play with. You should really try them out really they are lots of fun to play with. I tried them out with water, mixing it all together and spraying it onto my project...using the heattool too because I can't wait long enough for my project dries up....lol.....so for the second layer I placed some Embossing ink on the frame and on top I rubbed some Green Pearlescent PanPastel on and the Orange Pearlescent PanPastel.Then the 3th layer, some crackle yep I know crackle hehehe. I let it dry a bit and again used the heattool. Instantly it gives such nice crackles on your project. So again I rubbed the Pearlescent Pans on the survice so it could mix with the crackle.....it gave it a very nice result. 

And to top all the shinyness I painted the frame with Iridescent Paste. 

So the background in the middle is colored with the Metallic PanPastel, the Copper colored Pan, mixed with Irisdescent Paste, I chose the metallic pan on purpose to give it a different color than the rest, this way the butterfly would fit in better. It is colored with the Green and Orange Pearlescent Pans so if I would color the background also with those colors the butterfly was not going to be noticed. In front of the frame I placed a Rosette with on top a heart from Dutch Doobadoo, colored with the Orange Pearlescent PanPastel. And to finish my project I placed a sentiment on top.
