WE LOVE TO CREATE CHALLENGE #3 ANYTHING CREATIVE MIXED MEDIUM GOES WITH POLKADOODLES XXX

Hi there crafters out there, it is time for a Brand New Challenge over at the We Love To Create Challenge Blog....are you ready for it.....sponsored by the amazingly talented Polkadoodles!!

So what do I have in store for you for this challenge...

This time I made a Tag, I thought it was time for something else then cards....so I decided to make a Tag. I have cut the the Tag from a piece of cardstock, made this Tag myself ....this way you can decide what size you want it to have......

I started with the background. It was made with a bunch of different colors of distress inks. I have used 4 different colors to color my background with. I played with lots of stampsets on the background. I worked with sentiments. I used the Texture Galore stampset, The stampsets are so versatile don't you think????? I have used and played with them on so many different projects and they are so easy to work with....what kind of project did you make with them? I am curious about that...

What I also used on the background is a stencil from Dutch Doobadoo. the leaves are pretty aren't they? I really love those they way they turned out with the crackle .....My butterflies were colored with Distress inks and the body of the butterflies were worked on with Glossy Accents, I thought it would give those georgous butterflies from the Papillon Clear Stamp set a "real" look.....

And last but not least I decided to play a bit with a sentiment stamp from the Perfect Wishes stampset, I cut out the words and devided my sentiments in between and under the butterflies. 

I must say that the Texture Gallore and Vintage Text Stamp sets are my favourite stampsets for my background, what are yours? I am curious what yours are......

Hey there guys, this is Terry and it is my turn to give you a little tutorial on the Polkadoodles Craft Blog, for your inspiration.

Are you ready for it......here I go....

what I did first, I colored the background with different colors of Distress Oxide

After the background dried up I took the Clear Stamps from Bella Fleur and Belle Papillon and stamped them onto the background, lots of different sizes. I just love butterflies can you tell lol...

Than I stamped the same stamps on masking paper and cut it out. As you can see in the picture underneith......

I filled up the background with all sorts of tiny stamps from different clearstamp sets untill I was pleased with the result...you can add as many stamps as you want .....

So When I finished layering all the stamps and I was satisfied with the background I choose a color acrylic paint and with masked butterflies, the background was painted with acrylic paint......After the acrylic paint was dry, I was able to remove the masks from the butterflies and the color that I had previously done in the background now comes into its own in the butterflies themselves.

 I had one more thing to do to finish my card. I edited the butterflies with the Graph It pen. I also edited the flowers with the white Graph It pen. And last but not least, I picked out a nice text from the Clearstamp set from Polkaodoodles and pasted it to the card. And around the sentiment I played a bit with a black pen to let the sentiment Pop Out of the card.

POLKADOODLES CRAFTING.....EVERY WISH XXX

Hi there it is my turn for Polkadoodles to give you some inspiration, with a project with the fabulous Polkadoodles Clearstamp sets. 

I worked on the background of my Art Journal with Acrylic Inks, I used a roller for the background to distribute the colors more on the paper. After I dried the paints I stamped some flowers from the Clearstamp set "Every Wish In the World". They are really fabulous because you can build the flowers up any way you want.

I layered the stamps to build up my "bouquet"

And than I stamped a flower at the bottom of my art journal, just as if it had fallen of.
I wanted to build up my Art Journal Page and played with the Regal Peacock Clear Stamp Set

All over the page I stamped these lovely clearstamps. And than I wanted to add some color to the Flowers. This time I decided to color with Ecoline Brush Pens and I colored in lots of layers to give the flowers some dept. I did the same with the other stamps. Added some tiny flowers to them and colored them too......

Last but not least I played with the white Graphite Markers and colored around the flowers, tiny flowers and all the stamps in the background. And placed a sentiment.

I made a canvas this time....

Are you ready for it.....

Here I go....

I made a canvas for this month's challenge. I made the background with various types of stamps and started with Gesso, then I used Distress Oxide.

I played with a stencil and stamped some of the georgous flowers from the new stampsets from Polkadoodles, they are really lush.

I cut the flowers and colored them with Distress oxide and then colored 2 different butterflies. Then I played with where I wanted to put them on the canvas. And I doubled the flowers because I thought a little dimension would be so much fun to create.

I stamped the sides and edges of the canvas with leaves and stamped some hearts onto the canvas. Last but not least I placed a sentiment onto it. That is how is should be.....Enjoy the little moments...

I made a card this time....

Here I go....

 I have worked with lots of stampsets to create my background on the card that I made, I used soft colours such as lavender to create a Spring feel card, with Distress Oxides. 

For my card I used various stamp sets from Polkadoodles. The stamp sets are so great to use because you can go in all directions. This time I chose a Spring Card with soft tones.

You can build up your background layer by layer with the stamps. A lot of fun to do. After all my desired layers were dry I wanted to process some flowers and butterflies on my Spring Card. So what I did what I stamped my flowers and the butterflies and colored them with the Zig Clean Color pens.

After I put the flower on my card, I placed a little glitter from Nuvo. And the result can be seen above

I then processed the flowers on the card and a number of butterflies.

I have cut a few flowers, so that you can make the leaves a bit more round

There are also beautiful sentiments in the stampsets that you can process in different ways. I have done it this way and am satisfied with it. My project is ready and I hope that I can give you inspiration in this way, for you to make a project with these amazing stamps from Polkadoodles.

For this month's challenge I have worked with bright colors, I played with different colors for the background and stamped with Distress Inks.

 I wanted to create a flowerarrangement with different clearstampsets. One of them is the Stamp Soup Regal Peacock, this set is really wonderfull to create your own flowers. On top of the flowers I have played with Accents to give the flowers a bit of 3D effect. 

Last but not least I placed the Sending Special Wished sentiment.

Here I go....

I have worked on a card for you for this months challenge, I played with waterpaints in the background. 

This time I decided to go for blue's. I worked with the sentiments stamp and all sorts of tiny background stamps from Polkadoodles amazing clearstamp sets. The butterfly is colored with waterpaints also stamped on the background.

Than I stamped another set of butterflies and glued it onto the stamped butterfly. Last but not least I stamped the sentiment onto my card that I got from the fabulous Time To Bloom stampset.

I have made a card for you this month with Summer colors, I worked on the background with Distress Oxides and played with lots of stamps from Belle Papillon and Regal Peacock. 

Just love both stampsets especially the smaller stamps are very versatile. And you can use them for lots of different styles. I have colored the butterflies with the same colors Distress Oxides and all the smaller flowers too, to fit everything together. I also played a bit with a stencil in the corners of the background. I hope I am giving you some inspiration for this month's challenge
