SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW, SHOW US YOUR LACY AND DOILY

Hey there guys, this is one Sad Challenge Post for me because it is my LAST post for the


I have been a DT member for Simon Says Stamp and Show since the beginning of the Challenge Blog...I was so honored when the former DT leader Linda Elbourne chose me to be a member for the Vintage Challenge Blog and I was especially honored because I was the first Dutch girl....I could not believe it....now it is allmost 2,5 years later and I am posting my last Project. I allways had lots of fun and "met" my dear and  special teamies and we became dear friends, we shared lots of adventures together and now...it is over and done with for me.

So now I have to say farewell to Simon Says Stamp and Show but luckily I will go on with two different Design teams and I am very proud that I was chosen to go on TWO new venture. I will miss my dear teamies very very much offcourse but thank goodness we will stay in touch.....pffffewwwwwww that was hard to type in ......shall we go on......

Oke guys, so here it is the last post from me for the

I altered a Huge Heart, for this weeks challenge, the people who know me they know that I LOVEEEE hearts heehee and Crackle...they even call me the Queen of Crackle this is way too funny.....lol
So when it comes to hearts and when I saw this HUGE heart, I just knew that I had to alter it and to think that when I looked at it for the first time, it was White....well not anymore..lol...


I played with Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo Distress Stains and lots of Crackle on the background to give it the fragile look...The doily underneith the cute little image is worked on with Distress Stain, Glimmermist and Distress Stickles Crackle Rock Candy. I placed the lace with pearls on the side of the heart and onto the image.

  and to finish the Huge Altered Heart I placed the Sentiment Cherish....cause you allways have to Cherish a heart...especially the heart of a sweet and dear friend, so I made this Huge Heart for all my DEAR and SWEET teamies because I will miss you guys so much....and I will cherish your friendship ALLWAYS.....

SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW, SHOW US YOUR EMBRACE THE OLD.....

So this weeks theme is EMBRACE THE OLD.....you are going to have so much fun I just know it, so if you wanna play along with us, get your crafting cap on and think of something that has everything to do with the Embrace the Old and something Vintage...that would be just great...
This is what I made.....

I was thinking of hearts.....so I made a Frame Wallhanger from hearts....

Since I just love hearts I just had to get crafty with this fabulous wall hanging. The one at the bottom is made out of steel and reed and I worked on the reed with Antique Bronze to give it that old look.  

The heart on the top is worked on with Tissue Tape and Antique Bronze and on top I played around with the Crackle Paint. 

The small roses are dipped into the Ranger Emboss Ink and Utee to give it that older look. To finish the wall hanging I placed a few buttons on the edge and a Tim Holtz corner. 

The fabby girl image in the frame is dipped into the Distress Stickles Clear Rock Candy to give it a shiny look. 

So there ya have it guys.....my finished project, I had so much fun making this one I just love heart and I put a lot of love into it to make it......so you guys wanna have fun too....you can you know, only thing you have

SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW, SHOW US YOUR GIFT SPIRATION....

Hey guys, it is another Monday the beginning of the week and yep we have another fabby challenge at the

Isn't it just great.....
This is what I made for this weeks challenge.......


I just love making Christmas Gifts and giving them to someone is even better, so I made a Christmas Chocolate Wrapper. 



I used the fabulous paperpack from Tim Holtz and played around with the Embossing Folder, Embossing powder and lots of Crackle... 


The Deer are just perfect for my Project. The first one that I was making did not even end up inside a wrapper because I ate it! So I am sure the recipient will have a yummy time enjoying the chocolate inside this one because they taste delicious. 



To finish the Wrapper I placed a huge snowflake on the top and covered it with Distress stains and Glimmer-Mist, some lace and a few smaller snowflakes.
