Simon Says Stamp & Show, Your Distressed/Sanded Artwork

Hiya Ladies, it is Monday again so it is time for another FANTABULOUS challenge at

and this week our challenge is.....

Your Distressed/Sanded Artwork...

So here we go.....

This is what I made for this week.....and I must tell you I had a lot of fun with it....

I am sure that you will too.....

Oke can you tell what this is????? noo.......oke.....I had a wooden box that I got from a coworker at work......It has a slide on the side......so what did I do......
I made a Remember the Time Photobox....so on the side of the box you can place your old or new pictures inside.....

First I played with the wooden box and tried something completely new for me with crackle, not the super crackle from Tim Holz (too bad, but it will in the future), but I had a little pot in my stash it was waiting there for years....I got the Tim Holz Distres inks out, used the Vintage Photo , Brushed Corduroy, Rusty Hinge and Fired Brick distress inks. Placed a nice swirl on the borders with a clearstamp from my Stash

I did not have a clock, so I got one from a picture and re-used the top one, got the picture from the internet and placed it on the top of the box. The nice picture from the vintage girls is from my own stash too.





The flowers are made from a template of a flower that I had, on top of the flowers a splitpen and the glimmermists offcourse from The Man .....used the swirls and the swirlstamp to give the box that special look .

The sentiment is from an Alfabet from Sizzix from my own stash.....Still really like the alfabet even though it is an oldy....it was about time to use this one again. So ladies and gents wanna have a lot of fun again and just be reaaaaaal creative??? And this is what I came up with....

So I placed some Christmas color flowers and an embellie underneith....some stickles on it to make it sparkle....

I chose this fabulous and cute image from LOTV.....think it is such a cutie......I colored her with my copics and used some glimmerz and glitz on it.....

And this is my card when it is finished......I got the sentiment from my teamie Jo...thanks sweetie....and the papers are from Making Memories...the Christmas papers....furthermore I used the Martha Stewart Punch....and a nice red colored ribbon that I had in my stash.....I know I cannot believe it, another short post....wow hheheh....

Simon Says Stamp & Show, Your Grunge........

Hiya ladies, it is Monday...and wohooo we have another "normal" challenge at Simon Says Stamp & Show....I have to say thank you to you all for all those wonderfull and lovely comments that you have given me for the Blog Hop....really you should have seen me blush hehehe....

Oke here we go onto the Challenge for this week.....

This time the challenge is Your Grunge......I can hear you think what is grunge.....well......I was thinking the same thing being Dutch and all.....but I asked around and grunge is making it old, .......soooo let get your thinking cap in gear and let's get your grunge....

Mine is right here......

I have used this fabulous stamp from Tim Holz it is one of Tim Holz Cling Rubber Stamps Odds and Ends

I had so much fun making my "own" flower, I made it with those fabulous wings of the Tim Holz Sizzix Die Fancifull Flight Bigz Butterfly Alterations and I must tell ya, I just love this Bigzzzz Butterfly you can do so many things with this Die. I placed the wings, and sprayed them with Glimmermist, this time the Tattered Angels Glimmermist Old Lace and a few pieces of rope on top of the wings.

This Vintage lady is from a image that I printed out.....I found her on the internet if you want to find her too......just type in vintage and you will find enough sites where you can find Vintage images....I placed her on a nestabillitie and I used Vintage Photo Distres Ink all around her

So do you Allready know what I made???????No......hehehehe

So this is what I made......a little Surprise Purse......that is what I call it....

It is a purse made out of a template that I once got from a friend....it was just sitting there in my pc waiting to be used.....

I have used the beautifull papers from Graphic 45, Le Romantic, Vintage Love

These papers are absolutely georgous......I have placed some Martha Stewart Punched out papers on the side.....and my project for this weeks challenge is ready to go......

Sketch Saturday Challenge #121 and more Challenges

Hiya ladies, here we go again wohoooo it is Saturday so you all know what that means.....yep.....another fabulous sketch at Sketch Saturday from my teamie Jo...she makes the most wonderfull sketches so you better check it out .....

This is what I came up with for this week.

This sweetie is one from Lily of the Valley and I got here from my friend Krista....thankssssss I really love this one...and yep I had fun with this one too, I colored him with my copics......and used the Decorative Chalks all around him....and stickles on the star....

I kept it simple this time.....no roses this time...but a few buttons....and the sentiment is from Angels Landing.....placed some Tim Holz glimmers on it

The paper is from my stash of Christmas papers from last year so I cannot tell you what kind it is....but ohhh well......

These beauties are digistamps from Angels Landing, I think they are soo cute...

I colored them with my copics and used Decorative Chalks for the background.

And this is my card when it is finished.....I used the Kars X-mas Collection papers.....real pretty colors and you can put it together as you want.

And offcourse the border is from my Martha Stewart Punch. The little stars on the flowers are splitpens and the flowers are from the Action.....

Sooooo here we go, this week the challenge is

Embossing.........

And this is what I made....

So what do you think about these fab birdies??? It's from Roberta's new Nautical set digistamps and you can find them HERE they are called Harbur Gulls and I had so much fun coloring them.....I did that with my copics, decoradted the background with Decorative Chalks, the glimmerie ones......

So I embossed the background and used the Decorative Chalks on the swirls to give it a watery look....the shimmer in the water or what you want to call it.....I really like the looks of it....placed ribbon underneith the Gulls.....some rope and buttons and a flower from my Retro Flower Punch. Wow and I am done....that was fast hhehehhehe

So here I go with my project for the Bloghop....

It took me a long time to think of something that I could make.....but finally I thought of Christmas, just love Christmas time

Yeah I know this does not look like a lot...hihih but it is the side of the Christmas box........hihihi and those choclats looked so yummie.....but I did not eat even one of them.....I stamped the swirls on the box with distress inks and used the lightblue lace with the flower lace.....had the lace in my stash,

This pretty little girl is the top of the box.....I have used the wonderfull papers from Tim Holz The Vintage Shabby.....love the colors.....and the Merry Christmas stamp is also from Tim......the white swirls on the nestie I got in my closet, they were just waiting for me to be used.....

And this picture shows you the whole Christmas box.....but you know what, when I finished the box, I thought this is not enough, gotta make something else to go with it.....so I made a card too....

Here she is, this lovely vintage girl I picked her up at a site on the internet where you can find so many pretty Christmas images vintage style...the roses I worked on those with glimmermist from Tattered Angels and stickles.....

And that is this one.....the same cute vintage girl is on it....and the swirls, flowers, stamp from Tim and made the borders myself with my swirls stamp......with the Distress inks....so much fun.....

So and here they are together.....they really belong together don't you think?? This way you will have a card and a present for someone special.

Ohhh and I allmost forgot to tell you....

I have a little candy to give away to ONE lucky winner......

White lace....just so wonderfull.....

And the Glitter Spray GLIMMER MIST MARSHMALLOW from Tattered Angels......I used both of them on my project.

Kaartje gemaakt......Made a Card

Hai ladies, een rouwkaartje moet er ook wel eens gemaakt worden......dit kaartje is voor de familie van een hele goede vriend van ons.....zijn moeder is plotseling overleden en daar heb ik deze voor gemaakt.

Hiya ladies, sometimes when someone passes away you have to make a card too....this card is for our best friend and his family, his mother suddenly past away and this is the card that I made.

Als ik een kaartje maak dan zit er meestal een betekenis achter....zo ook met deze......je mag zelf bedenken wat die betekenis is.....deze vlinder is van ecru papier gemaakt, maar ook met wat glitters van de Stickles....

When I make a card usually there is a meaning behind it......so this one too...you can figure it out for yourself what that meaning is.....this butterfly is made of ecru colored paper, but I also used stickles....

De vlinder in het midden heb ik op een nestabillitie gezet......en eentje net buiten de ovaal..

I placed the butterfly is the middle of the nestabillitie....and one just outside the oval.....

En dit is het kaartje geworden, ik heb hem heel simpel gehouden en het prachtige papier heb ik van mijn maatje Jo gekregen....zo lief he......een paar pareltjes en een strengetje lint en klaar is het kaartje.

And this is the card that I made....I kept it real simple this time with the beautifull papers that I got from my buddy Jo....so sweet......a couple of pearls and some ribbon and my card is done....
