WE LOVE TO CREATE CHALLENGE #1 ANYTHING CREATIVE MIXED MEDIUM GOES XXX

Today WE HAVE a brand new challenge in a Brand NEW YEAR....over at the

I wanted to show you a few of the projects that I made for the Christmas Fair at work....I got the idea from a friend she made a few of these pots that she worked on with Fur and stars.....so I thought this would be just great to make for the Christmas Fair.

I had these glass pots and dressed them up with Fur......than I used two pieces of rope, the first one went on top of the pot right underneith the moss and the second pieces of rope in the middle of the pot.

 I worked on the stars with Gesso and Crackle....when they were dry I placed a layer of White Coarse and to cover it all up I painted the stars with Maimeri Mat Gel. To finish my projects I placed moss in the pot and around the top of the pot. Last but not Least I placed a Hyacint in the middle.

This is what I have made for the Inspiration week.....

I have altered a heartshaped box filled with LOVE. I have worked with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste, Colored the whole box with a mix of Iridescent Paste and Matt Gel Medium.

The bottom of the box I pasted a piece of the DD Paper Art Fences on it and Topped everything off with Iridescent Paste and Matt Gel.
 

A few roses on te top and some lace on the side and my Heartshaped box filled with LOVE is finished.

This is what I have made.....

Last week was my knee op, could not get a Blogpost ready but when you checked out the Challenge Blog you saw that I made my first stage project......

Remember the first stage of my project .....

yep I worked with Stampbord and played with the wonderfull clearstampset from Nikky, colored the background of the stampbord with pearlescent pans and pans, some leaves were stamped on it.

 And now I am in stage 2 of my project, I got this wooden flower and thought the butterfly would fit perfectly. So worked on the background of the flower with Gesso and Light Modelling paste, used a stencil from DD and played with the leaves from Nikky's stampset STOP, they have such fab background stamps on it. I played with Pearlescent and some pearls, hearts that I made out of an empty board. Finished it all by painting the Gel Medium on top and my Project is finished. 

So what do ya think, I am pretty pleased with it and had loads of fun with it. You can do so many things with Stampbord guys, you should really try it out....when you click the linky's it will take you to the store and you can purchase your own stampbord pieces.....it is really fabulous......so check out the challenge blog guys where you can see the inspiration of my amazing teamies......Enjoy and have fun.....
