WE LOVE TO CREATE CHALLENGE #6, ANYTHING CREATIVE/MIXED MEDIUM GOES

Hey there crafters, It is Sunday today, anddddd 

you know what that means eh?.....Today there WE HAVE LOTS of wonderfull projects and a NEW challenge over at the

This is what I have made......

On this picture you can see the texture a bit better....so what do ya think,.....you like.....???

I had fun altering a hat and made it into a Shabby Chic one...what I did was, the first layer on it is Gesso, on top of the Gesso I played with the Pearlescent Violet Pan Pastel, when my layer was dry I played with Crackleand used my heattool on it, the result you get when you play with crackle and after a while use your heattool you get this result.....

.....and I placed another layer of Pearlescent Pan on the Hat.

On the top of the hat I used some Light Modelling Paste with a stencil of roses, you can hardly see it but trust me it is there. The Roses are colored with Pearlescent Violet and Magenta Extra Dark.

Than I decided to use roses on the edge of the hat. I colored the roses with Iridescent Paste to give it an icy look. And offcourse I had to play with some lace and colored it with Iridescent Paste too.

This is what I have made......

I had loads of fun with a canvas, at first I did not know HOW to start but when I made the background with Gesso, Light Modelling Paste and lots of colours PanPastels.  the idea that I had in my head came out the way I wanted too.

The stamp that I used on the canvas is the one from Tim Holtz, I still love this stamp, because it reminds me of the fact that nothing is so important than your family. I used the stencil from The Wendy for the REMEMBER sentiment and the hashtags from Tim Holtz. Also in the metal heart a butterfly from Dutch Doobadoo.......

 I have worked on the flowerarrangement with Transparant crackle and colored the hearts that I made out of the empty cardboard Hearts from Dutch Doobadoo, with lots of Metallic PanPastels.

To Finish I placed some sentiments on the picture of the family and underneith.

GUESTDESIGNER FOR RHEDD'S CREATIVE SPIRIT CHALLENGE BLOG WOHOOO XXXX

Hey there guys quess what ...wohoooo I was asked to join into the Rhedd's Creative Spirit Challenge Blog to be the guestdesigner for April...thank  you so much Sandie for asking me....I think it is just wonderfull and such an honor hun....thank you so much.....




So here I go guys, this is what I have made for the Challenge Blog....offcourse I altered something....wanna know what ....

This metall butterfly which I just adore ....is worked on with Embossing powder and Embossing ink.....I used the heattool a few times to get this result....I have placed it on a bunch of roses that are played on with Distress Ink and this way they look really OLD....and that was just what I wanted it to be.....so I am very pleased with them the way they look.....

Oke so this is the Frame that I have been working on....the text in the centre probably does not tell you anything heehhe...cause it is in Dutch...but it is a text for the daughter of my coworker, she was surprising her girl with this present for graduating.....I think it is a very sweet idea of her Mom .....so what I did was, I used lots of Gesso, Light Modelling Paste, PanPastels, and some embossing powder to get this result. I just love playing with Stencils and hope you can see that I used a stencil that has Large Roses in it.....I just love it.....and love roses.....

What I did to finish the frame was....I decorated the Frame with two wooden hearts and colored them with Distress Ink and on top some crackle.....and the text in the centre was sprayed with water and colored with a soft touch of Distress Ink and some Mat Gel....and this way it looks old and that was just what I wanted it to be.....I hope you like it guys....
