FUN with the Technique Tree Tag over at THE NEXT BEST THING by LYNNE

Hey there guys, can you believe it that I just made a Tree Tag just for the FUN of it...wohoooo, I am pretty proud of myself that I could play after I saw that fabulous video tutorial from Lynne...you should really check it out and try the Tree Tag, I had such fun last night to make it. Just click Lynne's name and it will take you there....then you can watch the video too and make the fabulous Tree Tag...wohooooo
This is what I made....

As you can see here, I have made some leaves and worked on them with Distress inks, the Distress Stains and yep Crackle....it gives the leaves a bit more structure and since I did not have the products that Lynne has used I had to figure out how I could make the different colors into the leaves....so I used different colors of green and placed the crackle on top .....I thought the leaves could use a little something on top too..so I made this butterfly that I made with the Die from the Tim Holtz....

So here you can see what I kinda did with the background....perhaps when you see the whole Tag in a bit you can see it even better.....I have played with the words from the ChitChat Stickers and they are so much fun...you can create your own sentiments....I just love them......

And this is at the bottom of the Tag....the stamp that I have worked with on the background is one from Crafty Individuals and the mini chickenwire is a Template and offcourse I had to place some crackle on top there too LOL...since I am a crackle head hihihi...I just loveeeeee Crackle.....and I have placed the same butterfly at the bottom of the Tree....

Oke so this is the finished Technique Tag.....that I made, you can make one too if you want to, just go over to Lynne's blog "At the Next Best Thing by Lynne"  and you will have LOTS OF FUN....I know I did wohooo Thanksss Lynne for the fun Challenge sweetie, I just loved playing with the crafty stuff and I am pretty pleased with the outcome.....

First I played with Gesso and with the Wendy Vecchi Stampset and placed the hearts onto the corrugated card and played with Fired BrickSpun Sugar and Vintage Photo  on the crackle background

The sentiment has been worked on with Crackle Accents and distress inks.

I had the fabby lace in my closet and it was just waiting for me to be colored with distress stains. Last but not least I placed some Game Spinners and Sprocket Gears on top opf the hearts ( as you can see on the first picture) to finish my project.

SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW, SHOW US YOUR FAVOURITE TECHNIQUE....

Hey there you crafty people out there......are you in for a lot of fun...then you just have to come over to the

Our generous sponsor is offcourse Simon Says Stamp....wohooooo and what a fabby prize they have for one lucky winner.....

Isn't it just great.....

Oke here we go....this week we have a fun Challenge the theme is
Show Us Your FAVOURITE TECHNIQUE
You can make whatever you like but it has to fit the challenge as well as the Vintage part......
This is what I made.....

I wanted to make 3 tags because I think it's the little things that makes everything big in life....

My favourite technique is heat embossing, when melted you achieve such fabulous texture and dimension.  First I worked on the background with distress inks and played around with the distress stains and a paint dabber. And last but not least the Copper Embossing powder. Just love it.

Really like this flower, it comes from a die....cannot even remember which one it is but I just love it.....

The Wendy butterfly is my favourite, all you regular visitors will know that I am totally in love with these fabbylicious Butterflies from The Wendy.... I played with the Sprocket GearsGame Spinners

and embossed the butterflies from the Embossing folder and offcourse could not resist some crackle on top. I just love the little things that make life BIG.
So I will show you the Tags seperatly.....

This way  you can see it better....see the rich embossed swirls....I have used the copper embossing powder on it, the embossing folder is from The Tim....and I really love it a lot...it is the Springtime one.....
The butterflies are offcourse from the Wendy.....don't you just love these butterflies.....I sure do.....
Played around with the distress inks and distress stains and the white on top is from a Paint Dabber

The same is with this tag.....rich embossed swirls but I used the fabulous sentiment from the Tim's stampset and those words are so true.....the little things make life BIG......and played with lace to make a bow and at the bottom some lace too....the flowers ....I don't remember where what the die is called hahah so if anyone knows just tell me oke?

And here is the last of the three little tags.....really like this one too....the border with butterflies is made with the same embossing folder from the Tim....love it....offcourse I just HAD to use the crackle on top because everyone knows that I am a Crackle head lol.......

So there ya have it....the whole project when it is finished.....you wanna have fun too?????????And you can even win a fabulous prize from our generous sponsor Simon Says Stamp ...........come on over to the Challenge Blog.....and do join into the fun. I had lots of fun...can you tell......
