Hey there guys, this is one Sad Challenge Post for me because it is my LAST post for the

  SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW Challenge Blog...

I have been a DT member for Simon Says Stamp and Show since the beginning of the Challenge Blog...I was so honored when the former DT leader Linda Elbourne chose me to be a member for the Vintage Challenge Blog and I was especially honored because I was the first Dutch girl....I could not believe it....now it is allmost 2,5 years later and I am posting my last Project. I allways had lots of fun and "met" my dear and  special teamies and we became dear friends, we shared lots of adventures together and now...it is over and done with for me.

So now I have to say farewell to Simon Says Stamp and Show but luckily I will go on with two different Design teams and I am very proud that I was chosen to go on TWO new venture. I will miss my dear teamies very very much offcourse but thank goodness we will stay in touch.....pffffewwwwwww that was hard to type in ......shall we go on......

Isn't it just fabulous?

I altered a Huge Heart, for this weeks challenge, the people who know me they know that I LOVEEEE hearts heehee and Crackle...they even call me the Queen of Crackle this is way too funny.....lol

So when it comes to hearts and when I saw this HUGE heart, I just knew that I had to alter it and to think that when I looked at it for the first time, it was White....well not anymore..lol...

I played with Spun Sugar, Tattered Rose and Vintage Photo Distress Stains and lots of Crackle on the background to give it the fragile look...The doily underneith the cute little image is worked on with Distress Stain, Glimmermist and Distress Stickles Crackle Rock Candy. I placed the lace with pearls on the side of the heart and onto the image.

  and to finish the Huge Altered Heart I placed the Sentiment Cherish....cause you allways have to Cherish a heart...especially the heart of a sweet and dear friend, so I made this Huge Heart for all my DEAR and SWEET teamies because I will miss you guys so much....and I will cherish your friendship ALLWAYS.....

PANPASTEL UK CHALLENGE 2- NEW YEAR/NEW TECHNIQUE

Hey guys today we have another fabulous Challenge over at the

Before I get into the challenge for this week we would like to thank you for your fabulous entries into last weeks challenge, absolutely great I had fun checking your blogs out......

Oke hereee we go.....

The theme for this weeks challenge is New Year/New Technique.......Feel free to visit my amazing teamies 
Eileen, Claire, Brenda, Lindsay, Tracie, Kerry on their individual blogs. They have made some pretty amazing projects for your inspiration......
And this is what I have made for this week....

I have worked with this beautifull butterfly, it is one of the Spellbinders and I embossed it too played around with the Violet PanPastel and I just love this color, when you apply that in little circles on top of this butterfly you get this fabulous looking (at least I think it is beautifull) Violet butterfly, with just this great background...On top I worked with a little spool and lace...to finish it.

At the bottom of the notebook I placed a little bow, I flattened it a bit and placed two buttons with scrappersfloss, that stuff is fun to work with.

And on top of the notebook I placed a Tim Tag with the sentiment Journey on it....it was a "journey" for me to work with the PanPastels AND Crackle, I had lots of fun, this was a new technique for me and I made an old notebook into a new notebook.....

I gotta show you this before I will place a picture of the whole enchelada lol.....check out this lace, isn't it just fabulous.....

Oke here is a picture of the inside.....heehhe I worked on it with the Pans too....and you can see that I embossed it.

And where there is a FRONT there is a BACK offcourse too...so this is the back of the Notebook, you can see the structure of the embossingfolder and I think it looks pretty good with the Raw Umber and Violet PanPastels....

Oke guys there it is....I know I am trying out your patience but.....I hope you like it, I am very pleased with my project with the Fabulous PanPastels....they are really easy to work with and you will have lots of fun with them I am sure of it. FRILLIE AND FUNKY CHALLENGE FOLLOW YOUR MUSE, OUR HOSTESS IS SUE

Hey there guys, this is my FIRST post for the

  FRILLIE AND FUNKY Challenge Blog...

I am very excited about it and I hope you like what I made....

First of all I offcourse want to thank Linda for taking me on to her fabulous DT......thank you so much Linda, I am very honored about it. 2013 is starting out sooooo fabulous for me wowwzersss I still cannot believe that I am onto a new venture and I am very excited about it.

So here we go.....

And we have a fabulous challenge over at the Frillie and Funky Challenge Blog, the theme is FOLLOW YOUR MUSE and our hostess for this weeks challenge is Sue.....
So what does the theme enhale......check this out...
Sue is describing the theme like this....Now that the festive season is over and we are all getting back to normallity, it is the perfect time to let your "muse" wander free and see where it takes you. This could lead you down to the route of journalling, altered art or trying something you have never done before...Just make sure to let us know in your post where your "muse" had led you....

So I was having fun letting my muse take me to a Tag....yep....
A wintery Tag....since the christmas season is over I thought I would make a winter Tag with lots of blue colors.......so what I did whas, I played around with the Rosette from The Tim Holtz.....and colored the folded rosette with distress stains, then I cut the Snowflakes with the Big Shot and I used Utee on top in between I placed some lace and to finish the Rosette I placed a little metal snowflake with a gemstone.....

Then I saw this cute little girl that I found on the internet and I colored her with the Distress Markers and worked on the borders with the Paper distresser and to give it an even older look I worked with the Vintage Photo. 

And you can see the background here and there so you probably saw allready that I used the Emboss folder from Tim Holz and colored it with Distress Stains and sprayed glimmer mist on top....the bottom is created with the strip from the same emboss folder and then you see the snowflakes at the bottom even better, on top to finish I placed a few gemstones...the border is distressed with Vintage Photo.

Oh and how about the lace at the botttom? I just love it....
