POLKADOODLES UNIQUE STAMPING AND PAPERCRAFTS, TUTORIAL WITH LOTS OF STAMPS AND STENCILS IN MY ART JOURNAL XXX

Hey there, it is my turn, Terry, to give you some inspiration with the Stampsoup stamps, stencils and Flowerstamps from Polkadoodles....

Here I go...

What I did was, having loads of fun making 2 art journal pages,

I started out with 2 art journal pages and worked with different colors of distress ink, magical powders and water, I sprayed the papers untill I was happy with it. I played with the butterfly stencil and colored the butterflies with distress ink....not to bright and not too much ink, but just enough....

I then stamped some flowers in random order onto my art journal page and colored it with distress inks and acrylic paints. I used yellow, orange, gesso and the red color.

I took the dutch doobadoo stencil out and I was drawing the branches and leaves.

Then I thought I would use my polychromos pencils and the leaves and branches myself how much fun is that. And I took the Graph'It white marker and placed some lines in the centre of the flowers

A black pen was used to place some lines aswell.
At first I did not know what to place on the 2nd page but it did not take me long to decide to stamp the flowers overthere aswell. So the same ritual took place and I colored the flowers with distress inks and with acrylic paints. I must say that I am happier with the flowers on the right side. I think they turned out better then my first page. lol.....but oh well it is oke, cause it is in my art journal and you can play along in that and make whatever you want....that's the fun of working in an art journal

So I took the Hello Friend stampset out and stamped the leaves from the Heart Sing Clear Stamp Set on top of the art journal page after that the Regal Peacock stampset and played with some flowers, Then I colored lots of different butterflies from different kind of Clear Stamp Sets and colored them with different colors so they would pop out of the pages....I think I did make them pop....

So after I stamped my flowers I played a bit further with the black pen and the white Graph'It marker, you keep on adding on to the pages when you are playing in it. It is so much fun, you really should try it.

I added a stamp from the Honey Daisy stampset after I finished my background, I thought the honey combe stamp would make it look even better....

So this is page 1 with loads of colorfull flowers, flowers on top, butterflies and some sentiments that I stamped from the Heart Sing Stamp Set and I placed some lines all around the sentiments with a black pen. So much fun......

So this is Page number 2 and this one also has lots of flowers, nice vibrant ones, flowers on top and some butterflies colored with distress inks, polychromos pencils and some hearts from the Making Faces Clear Stamp Set, for this project it was all about how many stamps can I use to create 2 Art Journal Pages, I think I succeede my mission lol.....

And there ya go, my project that I made for your inspiration is finished, I can tell you I had such fun to figure out what stamps, colors etc. I would use and where to place them. It was a fun puzzle for me and I enjoyed myself a lot. I sure hope that I have given you lots of inspiration and hope that it will give you some Ideas HOW to work in your Art Journal.....let's get creative guys......

POLKADOODLES CRAFTS-Cutting Dies and Stampsoup xxx

Hey there it's Terry, with some inspiration for you, what you can make with the FABULOUS Craft Dies and Stampsoup clearstamps.

So I played with 4 different Craft Dies, they are just amazing let me tell you about them....

So the first Die that I cut out was the Posydoodles Square, I had this idea in my  head to make a card and wanted to use as much Dies as possible. The Hello Die, Delicate Daisy Border Die and the Daisy Cluster Die. Love them all. The background of my card was colored with 4 different colors of ink.....I used the sentiment from Belle Papillon on the card and some other tiny stamps from the Regal Peacock stampset.

I cut the Dies with white cardstock and wanted to give them some color. Since my card background had 4 different colors I thought I would use them all on the Delicate Daisy Border Die......

The Flowers from the Daisy Cluster Die were colored with ink and stamped on with the tiny heart from the Stampsoup Clearstamp set.

Here you can see how I worked around the card with the sentiment beautifull, I saw Nikky play with the sentiments around a project, so I thought why don't I give it a go. And I must say I am pretty pleased with the result. What else did I do? I used the Hello Die in the Square Die, placed the Delicate Daisy border Die on top of that and there you go, a complete card. And to finish I worked with the Graph'It Shake pen en played around on the Hello sentiment, on the Square and on the flowers..And last but not least I splattered some acrylic white pain onto my card.

POLKADOODLES CRAFTS

Hey there guys, this is Terry and it is my turn to give you a little tutorial on the Polkadoodles Craft Blog, for your inspiration.

Are you ready for it......here I go....

what I did first, I colored the background with different colors of Distress Oxide

After the background dried up I took the Clear Stamps from Bella Fleur and Belle Papillon and stamped them onto the background, lots of different sizes. I just love butterflies can you tell lol...

Than I stamped the same stamps on masking paper and cut it out. As you can see in the picture underneith......

I filled up the background with all sorts of tiny stamps from different clearstamp sets untill I was pleased with the result...you can add as many stamps as you want .....

So When I finished layering all the stamps and I was satisfied with the background I choose a color acrylic paint and with masked butterflies, the background was painted with acrylic paint......After the acrylic paint was dry, I was able to remove the masks from the butterflies and the color that I had previously done in the background now comes into its own in the butterflies themselves.

I had one more thing to do to finish my card. I edited the butterflies with the Graph It pen. I also edited the flowers with the white Graph It pen. And last but not least, I picked out a nice text from the Clearstamp set from Polkaodoodles and pasted it to the card. And around the sentiment I played a bit with a black pen to let the sentiment Pop Out of the card.

I sure hop I have given you some inspiration and hope you like my project.
So if you want to make a project simular to this you can use the following products from Polkadoodles.

POLKADOODLES CRAFTING.....EVERY WISH XXX

Hi there it is my turn for Polkadoodles to give you some inspiration, with a project with the fabulous Polkadoodles Clearstamp sets.

I worked on the background of my Art Journal with Acrylic Inks, I used a roller for the background to distribute the colors more on the paper. After I dried the paints I stamped some flowers from the Clearstamp set "Every Wish In the World". They are really fabulous because you can build the flowers up any way you want.

I layered the stamps to build up my "bouquet"

|

And than I stamped a flower at the bottom of my art journal, just as if it had fallen of.
I wanted to build up my Art Journal Page and played with the Regal Peacock Clear Stamp Set

All over the page I stamped these lovely clearstamps. And than I wanted to add some color to the Flowers. This time I decided to color with Ecoline Brush Pens and I colored in lots of layers to give the flowers some dept. I did the same with the other stamps. Added some tiny flowers to them and colored them too......

Last but not least I played with the white Graphite Markers and colored around the flowers, tiny flowers and all the stamps in the background. And placed a sentiment.

The Polkadoodles Clearstamp sets that I have worked with are:

Belle Pappillon
Regal Peacock
Hello Friend
Bella Fleur
Every Wish in the World Clear Stamp set

I made a canvas this time....

I made a canvas for this month's challenge. I made the background with various types of stamps and started with Gesso, then I used Distress Oxide.

I played with a stencil and stamped some of the georgous flowers from the new stampsets from Polkadoodles, they are really lush.

I cut the flowers and colored them with Distress oxide and then colored 2 different butterflies. Then I played with where I wanted to put them on the canvas. And I doubled the flowers because I thought a little dimension would be so much fun to create.

I stamped the sides and edges of the canvas with leaves and stamped some hearts onto the canvas. Last but not least I placed a sentiment onto it. That is how is should be.....Enjoy the little moments...
