The theme for this weeks challenge is...

SHOW US YOUR ANYTHING GOES.....so this must be an easy one eh? So better get your thinking cap on and Show Us Your Vintagy Anything Goes.....


This is what I made......

I was in a store and found these fabulous photo-frames and just had to alter them! This is a picture where I just put on the first layers.......

I found these fabulous Vintagy images on the internet and thought they would just look great in these fabby photo frames.......

I used lots of Gesso, Distress Stains, Distress Crackle Paint and Crackle Rock Candy as well as Rusty Hinge, Vintage Photo and Weathered Wood inks on the frames.....

Hand-made roses lie on top of  Foliage leaves from The Tim, and last but not least, I added a fabby Rosette to finish off my project. Offcourse I could not help myself to put some other "stuff"  on the frames......such as pearls, a heart, and a butterfly I had in my stash....

.And here is the whole project when it is finished.....I hope you like it....I am very pleased about it, it came out just the way I wanted it to be LOL.....so you wanna have this much fun as I had???? The theme for this weeks challenge is...

Show Us Your Texture.......and you can make anything ASLONG as it has something to do with this weeks theme AND it has to be VINTAGE........

But first I have to say that we have to say goodbye to our sweet and AMAZING talented Teamie Lynne, I am so sorry and sad that she is going to leave us, I am going to miss you Lynne and your amazing art, I hope that you are not going to be a stranger and that we stay in touch. Miss you lots......now we go on to the challenge

This is what I made....

Do you see the little cracks on this butterfly?

And this butterfly  had Glossy Accents on top.....

So I  made a textured ATC and you all know that I just love to play with Wendy Vecchi's stamps 

and my favourite Just Flutterby Butterfly of course.

 I used Spring Seasonal Distress Inks, Distress Stains and Crackle Rock Candy. Rock Candy and Glossy Accents were used on the butterflies to create a different texture. 

A Sprocket Gear adorns the Rosette, 

the Hope word stick is from The Tim and the back was finished with lots of colour and lace too.

And here is my whole finished ATC....I really love the vibrant colors of the  new Spring Seasonal Distress Inks....especially love the purple color combined with the others......oke so guys you wanna have fun too.....then come on over to the SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW challenge blog and do join into the fun.....you even make a chance on a fabulous prize...and while your checking the blog out, do check out my AMAZING teamies AMAZING creations....your gonna love what your about to see.....

A Folded Card For You......Prairy Fairy Design Blog and more

Hey there guys, it is my turn this week to show you a folded card on the

Prairy Fairy Design Blog 

I made this card once a long time ago. ...and with the fabulous Digistamp from Roberta I thought I would make another one.....and this time one for a guy.....why not eh? I think this would be just great for a guy.....and my favourite, it's Vintagy....

So I started out with...

Picking the digistamp that I wanted to use.....and I colored these fabby Poppies with Spectrum Noirs and Distress Markers.....the borders were worked on with Distress ink.

The papers that I used are from the Prima Marketing, Botanical Collection.....I really love these papers and the fabulous colors they have. They really give such a Vintagy look.....I used an self cut Oval to work with, it is a bit bigger then the image and you can make it as small as you want to or bigger. 

Oke here we go, it is very simple....I took a piece of cardstock and folded it just like you do to make a card.  Since I am Dutch I will use the Dutch centimeters....so you fold a piece of cardstock from 15 x 15 cm 

The one side you fold again, just take half of it and fold the paper.

Then you get this......see

So what did I do? I first worked on the front of the card, used the papers for it and after I got the paper on top, I cut an Oval out in the middle (or where you want it to be) out of the Designpaper. 

So the back of the card looks like this....you fold the piece that you cut out just like a "normal" card back to the front. 

Then you get this......from the front.

So when you have decorated the two sides of the Folded Card you get something simular like this.

I am really pleased about it and had lots of fun coloring and decorating the card.

A few bows from a piece of  lace and a few pearls on top and my Folded Card is done.....

I made a Tag for the guys.... On my background I worked with Shaded Lilac, Peacock Feathers and Vintage Photo and the Tim Holtz Stampset French Market along with Crackle Rock Candy. 

Then Paper Artsy's "Hot Pick" 

and Wendy Vecchi's Art Parts For the Guys all coloured with Distress Inks and offcourse with Crackle Distress Paint, remember I am a crackhead LOL.....

To finish off, I played with The Journey, which I have embossed and the Sprocket Gears and some items that I had in my stash.

And here is my whole Tag for the Guys.....I really love the outcome of it.....it was not what I had in my head but I really like it.....Those new colors from The Tim are just awesome.....so you wanna have fun tooo.....then I recommend that you take a look at the SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW challenge blog and find out what my AMAZING teamies created just for your inspiration..wohooooo you're gonna love what your about to see......

Oke here we go....this week we have a fun Challenge the theme is SUMMER HOLIDAYS......I bet you can come up with something fabulous....you can make whatever you like as long as it has everything to do with the Summer Holiday theme and it must be VINTAGE.....so come on over......

This is what I made.....

When I think of the Summer Holidays I think of the Distress Stains Wild Honey and Broken China... great colours to create a Summer wall hanging. 

On the background I used Gesso, Distress stains and Distress Crackle Paints .Picket Fence, Antique Bronze and Crackle Rock Candy 

The paper and images are from the beautiful Graphic 45 On The Boardwalk Paper Pad.

 I added some seashells, a Rosette  and Game Spinner  to finish off my hanging.

So this is my finished project for this weeks challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog......I hope I gave you some ideas for the Summer Holiday theme.....and I am curious what your coming up with wohoooo.... come on over guys...and while your there check out the creations of my AMAZING teamies.....my goodness your gonna love what your about to see..

Everything Wendy Yahoo Group Challenge.....

Hey there crafty people out there....I made it...wohoooo I allways wanted to join into the fun over at the Everything Wendy Vecchi Yahooo Group........and now I made it...thank goodness....
I made another ATC......I think they are lots of fun.....and I  never knew that I could place soooo much on a little card like that....

I have worked with these fabulous Wendy Just Butterfly Flutterby stamps...this is really my favourite...together with her big sis....the Just Fly.....I have colored her with the Distress Reinkers and used the Distress Markers too....they are so much fun to color.....and on top I played around with Crackle Rock Candy.....I am really addicted to that stuff......

So here is another fabulous butterfly that I played with.....perhaps you think you need new glasses LOL...our your seeing double hahah....but wait......

Here is number three so I have played with the three of them......I just love them.....can you tell??

The leaves are from another fabulous stampset from THE WENDY......totally georgous I have used Distress inks and played with the Distress Markers.....I think they are a lot of fun...and I just started with set number 1..wohoooo....and  yep me being a crackle head LOL....I just had to use Crackle Rock Candy on top.

Does this sentiment look familiar to you????? I will get back to it.....yep on top again...the crackle Rock Candy......and the colors that I used are Vintage Photo and Weathered Wood.....oh and offcourse the 

Complete Yummieness from Wendy.....loving it...can you see the crackles.....yumyum....Both of the sentiments are from the Stampset An Ey For Art.....

So here it is...the tiny little ATC card filled up with the YUMMIENESS from The Wendy Vecchi...gosh...how I love her ART....

so that is an easy one eh? You can make whatever you like as long as it is VINTAGE.....So better get those thinking caps on and start CRAFTING..wohooooo

This is what I made....

I made a ATC with lots of vintagy stuff...!

The background was created using the Graphic 45 paper-pack and the Chitchat Stickers from The Tim Holtz. Those words are soooo true.....keep them in the back of your head oke?

 Crackle Accents were used on the little Graphic 45 fairy and a little tag with a vintage style lady was placed underneath.

 I finished off her ATC with roses and pearl-strings.

So you like it so far......sure hope so......
