Hey there crafty people out there....here we go with another fabulous NEW challenge over at the

Oke so this week the challenge is SHOW US YOUR FAVORITE STAMP..soooo must be easy peasy LOL...you can make anything you want to as long as you use YOUR favorite stamp and it must be VINTAGE......

This is what I made....

 I have used my favourite stamp from The Wendy Vecchi, Just Flutterby Butterfly. 

And I have been a bit naughty by picking 2 favorite stamps LOL....this is the bigger sister of the other stamp from The Wendy, This is Just Fly, that fabulous stamp was the first one that I loved.......

I made some Decorative Pot Plant Labels for my Mother and Mother in Law. See the little sticks underneith??  I thought that would be nice for Mother's Day eh? And it happens to be  Mother's Day next Sunday the 13th (In Holland that is) .....So I am on time eh? 

I used Distress Reinkers to colour them, Distress inks for the borders and Distress Stains were used for the background.  

On top I worked with Distress Rock Candy and a few Paper Rosettes. The sentiments are from The Tim Holtz Chit Chat Stickers, and they are a lot of fun to work with.....you can create the sentiments any way you want.....

So here they are......I am very pleased with the outcome.....They are just what I wanted to make....how about that......so guys you wanna have fun too.....I bet you will come up with some great creations......come on over to the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge Blog and just check out the AMAZING creations that my even more AMAZING creative teamies made wohooo your going to be blown away.....

I have used this fabulous digi from KennyK....I had fun coloring her with my spectrum noirs.....

Placed her on a nestie and distressed the borders.....

And offcourse I could not do without these fabulous colored roses.....I really love these.....

The sentiment is from Create with TLC....and I thougth this was a great one for this card.

Time to say goodbye from Sketch Saturday.......

Hello all of you crafty people out there.....
With tears in my eyes.....I have to say this to you all.....it is very hard but I just have to do it....

Last week we said goodbye to Paula from Sketch Saturday......
Now I have to tell you that several of us will be leaving Sketch Saturday including myself......

Bente, Cazza, Faye, Jilli, Tracey, Jo and I have all decided it's time to either take a break from crafting to concentrate on home life, or to just cut back on DT commitments.
I would like to say Thank you to all the sweet ladies that I have been working with for about 3 years....You all have a very special place in my heart...and I will be missing you lots....

Thank goodness that Sketch Saturday will go on! Wohooooooooo
The baton has been passed to to very capable hands of Susie, Jen & Lizy, who will continue to host all those amazing sketch challenges for you.
There will be some adjusting to do and changes happening as they shape SS into what they want it to be, so I ask you all to be patient and supportive please while they settle in. Of course I know that you will because you are THE BEST!

My last card that I made is for tomorrow's challenge #206 after that I will leave you in the hands of all of the amazing ladies of the NEW Sketch Saturday....I want to  Thank you all for your support and friendship and I hope that you'll continue to support SS and take part in its future challenges.

Oke here we go, this week we have another fabulous theme......Show Us Your Kaleidoscope of Colours..........you can make whatever you want to as long as your creation is Vintage and has lots of colour in it    

This is what I made for this week.

A little something from The Tim, a little something from The Wendy and lots of Terry are all in the altered cover of my photo-album. As promised I made a little something for my colleague's sister. 

I have used the stamp set from The Wendy Vecchi, on the Rosette and worked with Gelatos on the Tulips placing the Rosette on top. 

The Butterflies are by The Tim Holtz and on top yes,  Gelatos, with a bit of crackle rock candy, which I could not resist.

Hey there ladies and gents, it is Monday wohoooo so that means another fabulous NEW challenge over at the

So here we go.....
The theme for this weeks challenge is Show us Your WORD........
You can make whatever you want to as long as it is VINTAGE and has everything to do with this weeks challenge.......

This is what I made for this weeks challenge.....

My favourite word  is "LIFE". 

I used the Papillon set from The Tim Holtz as a background for my tri-fold card. And I used the butterflies and moths in 3 different ways.....the first set underneith the net with LIFE.....

The second set I used with glossy accents.......yep underneith the net.....

And the third set I used ON TOP of the net and played with crackle on top.....this is my way of telling you that you can live your LIFE in so many ways......sometimes it is so fragile.....and sometimes your sooo strong, there are many happy moments and sometimes sad moments......this is what LIFE is all about....

Everything was stamped using Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany and worked on with crackle accents and Distress crackle paint.

The clock is from 7 Gypsies and so is the heart. On top I chose Game Spinners  and Sprocket Gears. And I found some coins in my closet and they were just a perfect fit me thinks....
