Simon Says Stamp and Show, Your Lord Tim of Holtz Style

Hiya ladies, so it is Monday.....and YESSSS it is time for another fabulous Vintage Challenge at

This week the challenge will be......

Your Lord Tim of Holtz Style....

so make your own project, a tag, card, or whatever you like....and make your own Tim of Holtz Style......

So I did mine...

So this time I made 2 projects.....really had fun with it .....I made this flower......I cut it from a piece of Tim Holtz Shabby Vintage paperpack....can you believe that those colors were a bit pinkisch at first?? well not anymore....cause I worked on the papers with the Distress inks and now the color of the papers are a brownish with a glitter in it....so the glimmermist was used too....a few punches from the Retro Flower and a button with some scrapperflosh that was originally white.....not anymore......

I am sure you can make something like this too.....cause if I can make it .....you definitly can make your own Tim Holtz Style....I am sure of it....see I did not have any experience with making a Tag.....but I know now that it is a lot of fun......with the year on the bottom of the Tag I can never forget when I made this tag hihihi

So..I used a Tag...used a lot of distress inks and glimmermist added grungeboard from Tim Holtz and placed the Hero Arts stamp with the little birdie on it and a few swirls.....worked on those too......did cut out a heart nestie and placed that one on top.....a selfmade flower and for the fun of it I placed a ribbon on top....I never knew that it is that much fun to play with different colors of distress inks....spray the colors a little and use another color with it and then dry it up a little.....and add another color....wow....so much fun.....

The second thingie I made was a little booklet.....with this yep you quessed it right.....with a selfmade flower.....just love how this one turned out...also distressed the papers, shaped the flowers and used the glimmermists.....and made a little pearl on top with the perlenpen....The papers I have used are the fabulous Vintage Idea-ology Paperpack Vintage Shabby some ausumn colors in there and really like it a lot.

this little booklet is the story of my life you could say.....so first there is this little girl....

And this little girl grows up and the butterfly flies away.....into the big world......

And yep this girl finds her way into to world.....and finds her love.....

And this love says YES to her......so they live happily ever after.......

And this is the front of the little booklet.....I used the same stamp from Hero Arts, so that the 2 projects belong together......there are a few more pages into the little booklet where I can write some words into......for now they are still empty......every page is worked on with distress inks and glimmermist......a few ribbons and rope on the rings....and my booklet is finished.......

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays, Challenge #33 Punch it and more

Hiya ladies, today is Friday so that means another challenge at
Hai ladies, vandaag is het alweer Vrijdag dus dat betekent weer een nieuwe challenge bij

Prarie Fairy Fun Fridays...

so here we go....This week the challenge is Punch it.....so get your punches out and start crafting.
hier gaan we.....deze week de challenge is Punch it.....dus haal je ponsjes maar uit de kast en lekker gaan freubelen.

I have used Pretty Gillian to make my project for this week. I colored her with my copics and placed her on a nestabillitie.

Ik heb de Pretty Gillian gebruikt voor mijn projectje deze week. Ik heb haar ingekleurd met mijn copics en haar uitgesneden op een nestabillitie.

I made a little purse.....and this is the inside of it....the sentiment is also placed on a nestie. the flowers are Punched out from the Retro Flower punch...in the center of the flowers I made my own pearls from the perlapen from Your Zoap....really easy to do and a lot of fun. On the bottom of the purse I used the Martha Stewart Punch the same on the top and at the back of the purse.

Ik heb dit keer een klein tasje gemaakt....dit is de binnenkant....de tekst is ook op een nestabillitie geplaatst en de bloemen zijn gemaakt met de Retro Flower Pons...in het midden heb ik mijn eigen pareltjes gemaakt van de Perlenpen van Your Zoap....echt makkelijk om te doen en ook heel leuk. Onderaan het tasje heb ik de Martha Stewart pons gebruikt net als bovenaan en achterop.

This is when you lift the top I places a pearl necklage as a handle.

Hier is het tasje geopend. Ik heb een parelketting gebruikt als handvat.

And this is the front of the purse when it is finished.....the papers are from Tilda, from Your Zoap....really fabulous papers and lots of pinkish colors and roses...just love the roses......

Knutseldag bij Krista......Crafting day at Krista's

Hai ladies, afgelopen zondag had ik met Krista weer een freubeldagje....erg gezellig en we hebben ook nog een paar kaartjes gemaakt.

Hiya ladies, last Sunday I had a craftingday with Krista.....we really had fun and time sure flies when your having fun....and yep we made a few cards...

Dit kaartje is ingekleurd met de copics, erg leuk om te doen en het papier is van Tilda.....het lint van Your Zoap.....echt gaaf hoor.

Een paar glittersteentjes erbij en een strikje gebruikt.....

This card is colored with my copics.....very nice to work with, the papers are from Tilda and the lace is from Your Zoap....just wonderfull....

Dit kaartje is ook ingekleurd met de copics en de rand is gemaakt met de Martha Stewart pons de hartjes....het papier is van Flutterby. Een paar roosjes erbij en klaar is het kaartje......heeft wel wat voeten in aarde gehad om te beginnen met deze....maar goed het is weer helemaal gelukt.

This card is colored with my copics and the border is made with the Martha Stewart Punch.....hearts....the papers are from Flutterby...I added a few roses and the card is finished.....took me a while to finish it though....but it worked out fine...

Deze kaart is ingekleurd met de Primacolor potloodjes van Krista....voor een groot vlak valt het nog niet mee als je niet meer gewend bent om met potloodjes in te kleuren zeg..het afdrukje is van Magnolia, het papier van Tilda....en de rand ook met de Martha Stewart Pons gemaakt. Een paar vlindertjes erop wat stickles en klaar is ze. Geen bloemen dit keer want het kaartje heeft genoeg bloemetjes erop staan.

This card is colored with the Primacolor pencils from Krista....a big surface is not that easy to color when you are not used to pencils anymore...the image is from Magnolia and the papers from Tilda....the border from the Martha Stewart Punch. A couple of butterflies with stickles on the wings and she is done...This time no flowers cause the papers have enough flowers.

Hiya Ladies, I must tell you wow what an amazing respons we had on the first challenge at Simon Says Stamp and Show....it is unbelieveble......farout and just fantabulous....(hihih just learned a new English word hihihi)....but ehhhh lets go to another fabulous challenge at

Here we go....
This week the challenge is......
Your Studio490 Style

I did not think that I could come up with something, I don't have any stuff from Wendy Vecchi but I gotta tell ya ladies, you don't need to have any stuff from Wendy causeeee...you can make your own Wendy Vecchi style....or Studio490 Style...that's what I did.....

So I was sitting at the table and thinking what I could make....and suddenly my fingers started to ich.....and I got some cardboard and started to color is with my Distress inks....a few colors I used.....I punched a few flowers from the Retro Flower Punches and started to color those too..and yep I made my own colored papers and flowers.....wow never knew I could do that but I did.....jippieee....SO ladies if I can do that.....YOU can too.....

These are my punched out Retro Flowers and I used Tim Holz Distress inks all over it....and the little stiched lines are from the gelly pen, the heart of the flower is a gem. And the button is from my mom's nittingbasket (hahaha don't even know if this is the right word...)

And this is the other flower on the other side of my project...placed some lace underneith......

These hearts are from the Nestabillities I cut them in my cuttlebug...and yep also colored the hearts with Tim Holz Distress inks...and placed a little rope on the heart and a few headpins on top.

Now I hear ya all thinking what in the blazes name did she make......hihihih...in a minute you'll know...

Well this became a very special project for me....

yep...this handsome man is my Father and the lovely bride is my Mom...don't they look absolutely stunning......I think so.....why is this so special ....??? well my Father passed away in '95 so this is very special for me....So I made a photoframe from my Mom and Dad........and I must say I am very pleased with the result.....And I can assure you that, that doesn´t happen often so I am really pleased....

Even made my own holder for the card....never done that before either....

Prairie Fairy Fun Fridays.....and more....

Hiya ladies yesssss it is time for another fabulous challenge at Fairy Fun Friday.....

So lets get started right now....

I know I am late again...as usual.......

So here we go....

this time the challenge is a photo inspiration....really had trouble to get started, but finally I did finish my card.....

So this is the Photo, the safari look....pretty nice eh.....

I really had fun again with this fabulous en enthousiastic image called Ballerina Gillian...you can find her in Roberta's Digistamp store called Prairie Fairy Designs. I just love these digistamps and allways have a lot of fun coloring them....I colored her with my copics......this time no glitters on her.....

And this sentiment just love it......I added a couple of darkbrown roses.....and a butterfly......and what do you think about that lace....I just love it.....

Yeah yeah I know made another Easel card..couldn't help myself....this is so much fun and rather easy to make.......Oh the papers, I don't even know the name hihihih so silly of me.....and I do know that I used my Martha Stewart Punch....love that one....

I made a project to say Thank you to, check it out ladies...

I made a Candy Jar, with lots of cherries inside.....and butterflies on the outside

To say thank you and to say to you that you cherish your friends.

This is the side of my little candy jar, I have used the vintage papers and 2 kinds of lace

I used this fabulous stamp from Whiff of Joy and colored her with my copics, placed her on a nestie and on the bottom there is a butterfly, the borders are inked with Tim Holz Distress inks, just like the Martha Stewart Punches.
