September 3: STAMPTEMBER BLOG HOP OVER AT THE SIMON SAYS STAMP AND SHOW CHALLENGE BLOG

Hello Hoppers and welcome to my blog......I hope your having lots of fun hopping around so far in the fabulous STAMPTEMBER BLOGHOP......

Before I give you some detaills about the BLOGHOP first I will give you a little information about 

SIMON SAYS STAMP

Simon Says Stamp was founded in 2002 with an interest in exclusively selling rubber stamps. It didn’t take long until we realized we couldn’t stop there. Over the past 10 years we celebrate rubber stamping in its full glory by giving access to people around the world to a one stop shop. Rubber stamps still remain the heart of our business and we are celebrating by hosting a “STAMPtember” ™ event intended to inspire, educate, and celebrate the greatness of rubber stamping. Part of the enticement of rubber stamping is that stamps can be used in creating or complementing ANYTHING! From stamping dates on bank documents and postage parcels in the early 18th century, rubber stamping has dramatically expanded to include card making, scrapbooking, mixed media and many forms of altering and expressing art.

I'm celebrating STAMPtember ™ with this handmade project

I had so much fun making the Moments to Remember book......

I just knew I had to make a book. My book is for the moments you want to treasure, a keepsake. I took the Victiorian Velvet, Tattered Rose and Fired Brick to give the background some color...together with the Paint Dabber 

and that georgous Stampset from Tim Holtz I gave the book a beginning of those moments. And used it on the Rosette too.

What I also wanted the book to have was  some personality, so I added a face from "Moments To Remember", the perfect stampset for it. I just love this girls face she reminds me of myself since I am a big dreamer too lol. And offcourse I wanted to use Crackle on top of the girl...I really love crackle......

And since I just love hearts I cut some hearts out of corrugated card and worked on it with UTEE. And I wanted to add Vintage Photo for that age feel.....

I even worked on the inside of the book with the Stencil and played with some Vintage Ink.....
