*Mixing It up*....

We were asked to mix Pan Pastels with some kind of medium or fluid, which could be anything.

So what did I do to MIX IT UP.....

Anyone who knows me knows that I love to alter Picture Frames....so that is what I did, I mixed up lots of Mediums....I worked on the background with Gesso, Modelling Paste and lots of the golden metallic Acrylic Paints.....used them on the hearts too.....and on top played with Crackle a bit.....Did you ever try the Acrylic Paints....they are amazing and have such a rich colour.....I love them.....I made my own background this time..how I did that.....well simply used a brush and twisted the brush around and around and used the different colours untill I thought it was enough.....I had lots of fun making my own background with all the mediums, so this time I did not use a mask or stencil for it.....

The bottom of the frame was decorated with a metall corner.

The flowers were made with Versamark ink and Embossing powder and on top Utee......the background is made with the metallic PanPastels...

The theme is CHRISTMAS PREPARATIONS.....
This is what I made

How about some Christmas Ornaments eh? It just popped into my head to make some Christmas ornaments....I just started crafting and it all became clear to me what I wanted to make....This is a metall heart can you believe it? I altered the heart with those fabulous Christmas papers from Tim Holtz, it is a part of a nice stack of papers from Tim Holtz his combined stack.....I placed the Crackle Glitter Rock Candy on top of the image and worked on the sides with some snow tex that I still had from last years Christmas. At the bottom I placed the fabby metall filigree.

This is the other side of the first Ornament that I made...placed the Christmas image in the shape of a heart and placed Linda's fabulous lace as decoration. At the bottom a Snowy star, it is a Metall Filigree and I bend 3 parts at the back and colored the front with Crackle Paint and Clear Glitter Rock Candy....it really is too bad that you cannot tell on the picture....it really gives the ornament a shiny glittery look....

Oke onto the 2nd Christmas Ornament, I really love this one because the image is soo cute with Santa and the smiling excited child who gets all those presents.....and offcourse I just love the lace and the snowflake....

And onto the frontside of the 2nd Ornament. This image is also from the Paperpack from Tim Holtz....it has so many fabulous images in it that you can use for making ornaments.....at the bottom another Metall filigree embellishment to finish my Christmas Ornament......and I had loadsssss of fun making them. I am sure they will end up in our Christmas Tree in a few weeks.....can't hardly wait when the time comes......So guys you wanna have loadsss of fun too.....then I suggest you just have to come over to the Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog and join into the fun and while your at it, just check out my amazing teamies projects, your gonna love them cause they are just fabulous and they give you so many wonderfull ideas for Christmas......

PREMIUM CRAFT BRANDS CHALLENGE #46, Colouring Embellishments

it is Sunday so that means we have another fabulous NEW challenge over at the

So onto the challenge for this week, the theme is Mixing with fluids....and your gonna have fun I am sure of it......I had lots of fun making this.....

I had a word and that word is HOME and made out of MDF......and you can make some fabby creations with MDF....so what I did was....

The background of my MDF word HOME is worked on with Metall Foil which is embossed,

So what I did was, when I placed the metall foil, I placed a amount of Versamark ink on top of it, this way the metallic PanPastels connect better on the metall foil. So I worked on the whole word and this is the result. Underneith the H I played a bit with a metall heart, on top crackle and last but not least the Metallic PanPastels.....and a piece of rope to finish.

On the O I did the same as the other letters but at the bottom a little butterlfy with a few pearls and yep Metallic Pans....
And a small butterfly underneith the M....don't you just loveeeee the Metallic PanPastels...they are so versatile I just love em......

And underneith the E.....another heart but this one looks a bit different because it has all these tiny hearts on it....same game.....worked on it with Crackel and Metallic Pans.....and to finish my word I used the Iridescent Paste to cover it all.

So this is my finished project for this weeks challenge.....and I had loadsssssssss of fun....you wanna have fun too guys....then I suggest you come over to the Challenge Blog of Premium Craft Brands and join into the fun. And fun is what your going to have I am sure of it.....and don't forget to check out my teamies fabulous creations oke....

Anything Goes and/or Something Altered!

So this is what I have made.....
I have altered a Photoframe and had lots of fun doing it....

I had a blast with the fabulous Metallic PanPastels, love the colours and the shine they give. I altered a photoframe and used the Wendy Vecchi technique of stamping onto Modelling Paste and I can tell ya that works just wonderfull. So Thank you Wendy for the tutorial, I love it....

The butterflies from Tim Holtz are covered with Iridescent Paste and on top Metallic PanPastels. Don't they just look fabulous.....I never knew that Irisdescent Paste can absorb the fabby Metallic PanPastels that good.....they look really fabulous. Tooo bad that the pictures are not allways showing the real pictures.....

The borders of the frame are worked on with Gesso, Modelling Paste and the Roses/Butterfly stencil and a honeycomb stencil.

To cover it all I painted with the Metallic Acrylic Paints. Did you ever paint with the Metallic Acrylic Paints.....if you never have you should really try them out, they are fabulous.

FRILLY AND FUNKIE CHALLENGE, THANKSGIVING ......SECOND WEEK .....

Hey there guys, it is Wednesday today so it is time for the second week on another fabulous challenge over at the

my teamie has a fabby theme..So if you wanna join into the fun just click the linky from .....

the  FRILLY AND FUNKIE Challenge Blog...

And I am sure that your gonna loveee what your about to see, all the fabulous projects from my teamies, they are really fabulous

The theme is Thanksgiving
We want you to use this challenge to create a card or project that reflects the abundance of the harvest season and the gratitude we express during the beautiful holiday of Thanksgiving.

This is what I made

This time I made a card and worked on the background with the fabulous paperpack from Tim Holtz. These papers show all the yummie recepies for Thanksgiving. Mmmm yummie...

I had this idea to use the Pocket Watch from The Wendy Art Parts in the Thanksgiving card. See everything is about time, so time to eat and enjoy at Thanksgiving .....worked on it with the Crackle Distress Paint.

The sentiment is from the Paperpack from Tim Holtz and the image is from the internet. And on top I worked on them with Glossy Accents.

At the bottom of the card I placed a metall filigree, does look lovely like this eh?

So here you have a better look at the sentiments and the Pocketwatch.

And this is my finished project, you like? I like the way it turned out, love it even....never made a Thanksgiving card before...but that is because in Holland we don't have Thanksgiving ....so you wanna have fun too guys, then you should come over to the Frilly and Funkie Challenge Blog and check out the inspiration on the blog...my teamies are amazing I tell ya....
Have fun
