Oke here we go with this weeks challenge....
This week we would like you to
Show Us Your Recycle/Upcycle Projects.....
you can make anything you like, as long as it is made from a recycled box or whatever and it must be VINTAGE......so better get your thinking cap on and start crafting wohoooo and dooo join into the fun.

I am always recycling "old" stuff so this challenge was right up my alley. I made a Christmas wrapping out of an old box for underwear. LOL, mens underwear LOL!

I have used the fabby paperpad from Graphic 45, this paper is so beautifull and you can do so much with it...I have played with Vintage Photo and Aged Mahogany and worked with The Tim's Odds and Ends.

The front is a lot of tiny little images glued all together and placed on a square wooden piece. It is worked on with Distress Crackle Paint. I just love the crackle paints it gives such a great look on your project.....yesss I am addicted, I admit it......LOL....

I have placed a spacer in the middle, or should I say two spacers....to give it this look....It just looks like a star doesn't it?

The lace is from my own stash and was made into a bow. I have placed a bow on both sides of the Wrapping.

Oke here is the front of my finished Recycled project, I hope you like it.....I know I do and I think I have a pretty good idea who is going to get this wrapping with a present inside offcourse...hehehe.....

And this is the back of my Wrapping.....looks a little like a candy doesn't it......so guys you wanna have fun with this weeks challenge at the Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge.....then come on over and do join into the fun...I bett ya you have a little box or something else in the house to make your project with.....so I wish you lots of fun and while you checking out the challenge blog, do check out the individual blogs of my AMAZING teamies.....it will be worth your while to check them out cause my teamies really did an AMAZING job on this weeks challenge.....wohooooooo

  2. Terry, WOW what a difference a little paper, some inks and lacy ribbon can do! Of course, you have to have that creative eye to put it all together and you DO! Your altered Christmas packaging is beautiful! The before and after is DRAMATIC! Love your piece. <3 Candy
