This will be my LAST PROJECT that I have made for the amazing Designteam from Polkadoodles, It is time AFTER allmost 13 years to leave the WL2C designteam and do something for ME......I have had loads of fun creating each month, there has been lots of laughter and fun creating for Polkadoodles.... I wish my teamies loads of fun, luck and love and I would like to thank Nikky for her generousity and wonderfull years of creativity and friendship..... Thank you so much big hugs from me to all of you....untill we meet again.

So Are you ready for my last project ladies.......
Here it goes.....

I have made a gift bag, How nice is it that you NEVER run out of giftwrappings. Something nice to give to a birthday girl or just like that to a friend??? I think it is pretty awesome that you do not have to run out to the store the last minute to get a nice giftwrapping.

So I made a giftwrapping. I started with a piece of cardstock and cutting out a gift bag from an
example bag. I literally took the sample bag apart. After cutting it out I glued it on the vintage paper. And then I folded it. Now all I needed to do was decided what I could think of now was how I wanted to decorate my bag. It did not take me long to make a decision though lol....

I played with the beautifull flowerstamps and the Snowball/snowy bubble dots stencil to accesorize the bag. I have colored the flowers with aquacolor pencils and the centre of the flower is done with glossy accents. Last but not least I have placed a sentiment in the front. I am pretty pleased about it and it gives me a Vintagy feel don't you think?? And I had lots of fun creating my Gift Bag. I sure hope I have given you some inspiration on making a Gift Bag too....

Hi there, crafters out there.....did you know.....that we

Have a NEW challenge over at the

I made 2 wine labels for a colleque.

So how did I create these wine labels? Well first I have cut a piece of cardstock and with a stencil of a Wine Label I created a white one.

I started to ink the background with a few colors of Distress Ink and also with the Snowball/Snowy/Bubble/Dots Stencil I played on the background of the winelabel. So I started building up different layers with lots of stamps and stencils.

I must say that the Papillon Butterfly is still my favourite butterfly, it is a bit bigger than other stamps of butterflies and you can do loads of fun things with it.

This time I have colored them with Distress ink and after that I played with a Bleach Pen and sort of discolored it a bit....Last but not least I have placed a sentiment from the Perfect Wishes stampset and cut it out in a few words to devide it better on my label....at the bottom I placed a piece of lace to finish it. And offcourse at the back of the Label you can write your text.

The second Wine Label is totally different than the other one, I have colored the background with Distress Inks and worked with a bleach pen on the stamped butterflies from the Bella Fleur stampset,

I than took the doodle stichted Borders Stamp with the tiny hearts on it and stamped all around the Label, On top I placed a vintage image of a girl and worked on my roses with accents and a few tiny butterflies. So what do you think I am pretty pleased with my finished projects and it is not that hard to make, I sure hope I have given you some inspiration to try to make your onw Wine Labels, it is so much to do and when you are having a party you can hang the Label on your Wine bottle so present, card and text all at the same time. I sure love those gifts....

The products that I have worked with are:

Bellafleur Clear stamps

This time I made a Tag, I thought it was time for something else then cards....so I decided to make a Tag. I have cut the the Tag from a piece of cardstock, made this Tag myself ....this way you can decide what size you want it to have......

I started with the background. It was made with a bunch of different colors of distress inks. I have used 4 different colors to color my background with. I played with lots of stampsets on the background. I worked with sentiments. I used the Texture Galore stampset, The stampsets are so versatile don't you think????? I have used and played with them on so many different projects and they are so easy to work with....what kind of project did you make with them? I am curious about that...

What I also used on the background is a stencil from Dutch Doobadoo. the leaves are pretty aren't they? I really love those they way they turned out with the crackle .....My butterflies were colored with Distress inks and the body of the butterflies were worked on with Glossy Accents, I thought it would give those georgous butterflies from the Papillon Clear Stamp set a "real" look.....
And last but not least I decided to play a bit with a sentiment stamp from the Perfect Wishes stampset, I cut out the words and devided my sentiments in between and under the butterflies.

I must say that the Texture Gallore and Vintage Text Stamp sets are my favourite stampsets for my background, what are yours? I am curious what yours are......

Crackle Paint

So what do I have in store for you for this challenge...

We Love To Create Challenge Blog

I was so sick of the rain, the hard winds feeling like it is Autumn, so I decided to create a Feel like Spring card, I started with a piece of cardstock and folded it in 3 pieces and colored it with different soft colors of distress inks.

When the first layer with distress ink was dry I went over it with gesso and I used my brayer to distribute it well over my background. I did this to make the colors even softer then they were..... Then I went over it again with the light colors of the distress ink. After that I stamped a flower from the Pretty Perfect Stampset  and a few butterflies were stamped, they are from the Flower Collage Stampset, don't you just love them? I colored the flower and the butterflies with the same light colors to make them fit onto my card

What I also did on the background was I used the stencil from the Flower Collage Stencil and Around the flowers I used a fineliner to make them POP out more....so what do you think? Did it work?

And do you see all the little dots? I thought it would be nice to place some dots from the Snowflake Border Stencil on my background to make it more playfull.....and offcourse I had to surround my card with the doodles from the  Flower Collage stampset

So here is my finished card, I sure hope that you like my card and I hope that I can give you some inspiration with my card. I had loads of fun creating my card. I can't hardly wait untill you show yours.....

The products that I have worked withe are:

I have made a farewell card for a colleque of mine. She is flying into a new adventure and therefor I have played with lots of vibrant distress ink colors and decided to work with the Collage Queen for a Day stampset and the Textures Gallore.

First I colored the background with lots of vibrant colors with Distress Ink....

Then I stamped the Vintage Text sentiment stamp onto the background

After I was finished and happy with how it looked, I stamped the Collage Queen for a Day stamp here and there on the background. And offcourse I stamped the Texture Galore Stamp in between the flying hearts.
When I was finished I used a fineliner to go all around my card and placed some stripes onto it. And in each heart I have written a small sentiment for her to read on her journey.......
I sure hope you like my card, I know for a fact my colleque likes it a lot lol....

We Love To Create Challenge Blog

I thought wouldn't it be fun to make a bunch of Christmas cards at the same time, so I made 4 of them in a certain amount of time....and I had so much fun.

I started out with cutting a small card out of Cardstock, played with distress inks and a lot of Christmas Stamps were stamped on the cards.

For this Card I used the Ho Ho Holly Clear Stamp set and the Perfect Poinsettias set they are so versatile and you can make loads of different cards with them

So this card was made with the Perfect Poinsettias stamp set and the sentiment on the card is from the Curly Christmas Clear stamp set

loads of Christmas flowers on the card to color or decolor with my Chlorine pen and the lovely thing is every flower turns out different when you use the chlorine pen.

This card is also made with the Perfect Poinsettias clear stamp set but with different colors distress ink so by decoloring the Christmas flowers you will get a different color of the flowers

The sentiment on my card is from Most Wonderfull Joy Christmas Clear Stamp Set and I love the swirls in between the words, don't you just love those??

So Card number 4 was also made with the Ho Ho Holly Stamp set and I stamped some hearts from the Curly Christmas Stamp set in between the leaves

The sentiment on this Card is from the Merry & Bright Christmas Greetings Clear Stamp Set, don't you just love this sentiment with those hearts and stars in between? I know I do...

Just love these small cards, you can make loads of cards in a small amount of time, especially when you have to make loads of cards before Christmas.

The Products that I have played with are:

I hope I have given you loads of inspiration to make some Christmas Cards guys, I am very curious how they turn out. And you wanna join into the fun over at the

POLKADOODLES TUTORIAL CHRISTMAS CARD WITH THE FANCY BAUBLE AND MORE XXX

Hello there it is my Turn (Terry) to show you how you can easily make a beautiful Christmas card.

I started by editing a piece of cardstock with 4 colors of acrylic paint with my brayer. I wanted to use green, orange, purple and white, but to my surprise the main color really turned purple with some white. If you look closely you can still see some green through it but the orange color has really disappeared hahah

And here from upclose so you can see the bits of green .......so I thought I would continue with purple and white colors, I love the color purple so no worries at all....

Of course only purple and white paint in the background becomes a bit dull, so I thought I'd have to take out the Texture Galore stamp set and stamp it on the card with the Distress ink here and there.

And what I did afterwards, I punched the Craft Die Fancy Bauble and glued it to the card. When it was a bit dry......

I treated the Baubles with Crackle to give it a glassy look. If you look closely on the picture you can see that it has this glassy look. I still had the idea that it was not finished on the background so I stamped a little star all over my card with the Purple Distress Ink and also I used the Doodle Borderstamp set all around my card and I even could hang up my Baubles how about that....those stamps are so versatile...I think everyone has that feeling sometimes when you are working on your project and you look at your background that you think it  is not "full" enough hihih

And with the Gnome 25 December stamp set stamped on my Christmas Card it was finished....I am pretty pleased about it. I hope I have been able to give you some inspiration again and have shown that you can make a pretty Christmas Card with not too many stamps or dies.  Now of course I am very curious what you will make with acrylic paint, stamps and distress ink.

And I have played with these amazing products:

Distress Ink
Acrylic Paints
